Glad I saw this topic, had no idea the 2nd series had started. Thanks to the over priced Sky service I was able to download last night's episode.

2x01- So that was disorientating, confusing and quite mental and I enjoyed it a lot. Fireman neighbour doesn't seem particularly stable at all so I look forward to him snapping at some point.

Donna from The West Wing has such an easy gig on this show.

Yeah it was her and her friends from the beginning.

That was a pretty risky opening episode for the season in many ways but it completely paid off. Great start.

The state of those opening credits :dread: Felt like I was plugged in to Frank's iPod.

Great episode though, very 'lost' in the opening scene, was half expecting to see a big statue revealed or something.

I reckon the departed go back in time or something daft like that

Just catching up with this, why the heck did they change the opening titles, the new ones don't fit in tone at all and are pure shite!

Watched this last night and I can't remember how the last series ended! When I started watching it (after the bit about the woman giving birth which seems totally unrelated) I thought it was an unrelated town to the main story, until Kevin and co moved in. Not sure why the father (Ecclestone's character) has also moved into the same town (partly I suspect due to me forgetting how the previous series ended).

Not as good as last week but still a good 2nd episode - Useful to answer some of the questions and storylines from last season and the 1st episode and see how the Garveys turned up in Miracle. I wonder if we'll see the Father, Son & Wife again this season. Nice to see the outside perspective of Miracle. Strange we didn't see what Kevin was staring at in the living room at the party, probably Patti though. Who knows what the end was about although they mentioned his sleepwalking earlier.

Have to say that last night's episode started to lose my interest. I feel like this needs to get on track with... something, at least, just to feel like it has some sort of direction. I love mystery, but when it feels simply inscrutable it loses its effect. Perhaps I'm just not paying enough attention, but firstly I need more of a reason to do so.

Regina King + Carrie Coon = Gold.

Cleared up a few mysteries from the 1st episode as well.

2x05- Christopher Ecclestone episodes are always great. I can completely understand why more people aren't watching this show but it's a shame as it's one of the more interesting things on at the moment with some great performances.

Well that was appropriately insane. I'll be devastated if this doesn't get renewed.

Really enjoyed that. Reminded me of that Sopranos episode (you'll know the one if you've seen it). Wish we didn't have to wait a week for the next one!

That episode was strawberry floating mental in a really good way. Great stuff.

Finally up to date. Loved 2x08. It feeling very much like an episode of Lost (I'm sure I heard the flashback whoosh noise) gave me a nice sense of nostalgia.
