Started this last night. It seems to have potential. I always liked Justin Thereox. He doesn't seem to have aged a day since Six Feet Under. He should have ended up with Branda, goddammit!

Stick with it. At times it feels like weirdness for weirdness' sake but I was on-board by the end of the Christopher Ecclestone centric ep.

I don't think he was in the pilot.

Seeing Damon Lindelof's name in the credits makes me.. Will this actually have closure to its mysteries?

Lindelof and the author whose book season 1 is based on have outright stated they're never going to answer why the departure happened. Other stuff is explained.

Not explaining the departure is IMO the correct decision as it's either the rapture or aliens. The show is about the effect that event had on everyone that remained, the cause is essentially irrelevant.

Okay yeah, the Christopher Ecclestone episode was really great.

The Carrie Coon episode coming up soon is superb. She was robbed of awards.

The Nora Durst-centric episode was outstanding.

She and the pastor are the best characters in the show.

I loved the bit at the start when she said "oh, strawberry float your daughter" to the chief. . Pretty much saying what everyone who watches is thinking.

Nora's great. If people actually watched this show Carrie Coon would get all the awards.

The chief's daughter, strawberry float me. If there's a more whiny, annoying, sour-pussed banana split on tv then I haven't seen them. I hate her so strawberry floating much. What the strawberry float is WRONG with her?! And that stupid expression she CONSTANTLY has on her face and ALWAYS with her top front two teeth showing.

I'm going to have to do a re-watch before the final season. It seems like forever since it was last on and I've forgotten everything.

I know she was in season 2 but I can't remember her doing anything. Just one reason season 2 is better.
