Finished off the Rito area tonight. Not sure whether it's because I've become used to the game a lot more but of the three Divine Beasts I've done this seemed by far the simplest... but also the most fun.

12k rupees
95 shrines
2.8 stamina vessels
19 heart containers

Only the two areas in the bottom left of the map to go.

Weirdly I also finished off the Rito Divine Beast last night too. Definitely agree it seemed the easiest, I reckon I completed it in about 20-30 minutes. That was the final Divine Beast for me too, I get the feeling that if there was an order in which they're intended to be done then this was meant to be first. Kind of irritating to get the most useful power-up right near the end of the game.

Think I'll clear up a few more of the shrine and side-quests before tackling Ganon. For those of you who have bought the DLC, would you recommend accessing it before or after the 'end game'?

I'm currently away from the game but I think my stats are something like:

25k rupees
98 shrines
full stamina vessel
21 heart containers

Hopefully. Get back to this and go on my path to volcano bitch on Saturday. Not gotten to play for a couple of weeks and the heat just stops me wanting to play anything.

I did Zora - Goron - Rito - Gerudo as my order, I guess that is the general beauty of the game though...

Really do need to beat Ganon now, I mopped up all the shrines and stuff but then stopped again

This was my order also, I think it's probably the most likely. Zora is definitely the most likely first choice, as the game leads you right to it from the Great Plateau. The player is then guided on to Death Mountain too, especially if they picked up the sidequest in Hateno which sends them to Akkala (so straight past Death Mountain).

I don't think the game gives much preference then to guiding the player to the Rito or to the Gerudo, but the Gerudo are more geographically remote.

Yeah I suspect most people would hit Zora then Goron for the reasons you state, but it is great that you can very easily just do what you want and that even though there are nudges toward this route they are very subtle.

I dicked about for ages before even doing the first divine beast as I was having so much fun, I did do Zora first but more from chance than because the game led me there. I think after that I did Rito - Gerudo - Goron, but those last two might be the wrong way round.

Same, I think that's definitely the most natural order in the way the game guides you.

For some reason I did Gerudo after Zora, then Goron then Rito. There was a reason I headed to the complete opposite side of the map from Zora’s Domain, but I have no idea what it was.

I'm consciously doing it in a different order this time. May do the camel one first although the items from death mountain would make thst easier.

I know that I traversed Gerudo Desert from the canyons behind the Great Plateau, completing that areas divine beast first. Pretty sure the order from there was Zora > Goron > Rito.

This would seem to put me in the smallest minority amongst all BotW players.

Up to 100 shrines now, spent a while today trying to find some more side quests, mostly checking out all the stables. Found a surprising number of 'em and I've done over 50 now.

I love that those two flowers have stood the 100 years, but the pedal stool where the sword is kept has changed completely. Just imagine the builders, "yeah mate, change the shape and all, but don't budge them flowers right".

Only got one area of the map left now, and I assume it's where the final Divine Beast is.

Made it to the angry gecko, going to enter the beast tomorrow or later, heat is too much for playing games especially ones in volcanos.

Link's a wuss. He needs special clothes to survive in a volcano? He should try sampling London right now!
