Can you take screenshots on the standard Wii U or are you running it through a capture card?

Yeah you can screenshot.

Depends how you play really.

I didn’t like warping so I spent most of the time on horses, I liked the companionship and the way they feel. Also horseback combat is brilliant.

No worries, annoyingly I've only just discovered it myself but it's a nice option to have. You do have to use the game pad to select the pic and that but yeah awesome.

I have one horse but just stabled it and haven't used it yet!

Great stuff, Errkal... you're out in the Wild :toot: .

Yeah, you can take shots on the U, Frank, although it is a little bit of a pain. You access the home menu, run the web browser, navigate to a picture upload site, upload it, and finally use the link to display the pic on a website post. Edit: Or... the ImageShare method that Errkal posted looks neat, too!

Are you not skipping that? You can skip that.

Yes but the skip only starts just before so if you're not paying attention you can hear some of it.

BTOW is a good game at best. Amazing exploration but gooseberry fool combat and all puzzles are easy.

Come at me.

I do yearn for some dungeons to go and spend a few hours in.

I had two blood moons about 90 seconds or so apart quite a few times playing this. Well annoying.

I had a blood moon at around 4pm once, completely out of the blue and after I'd just had one at the proper time the night before in-game.

The changing weather in this is terrific. A storm has started and the thunder and lightning really has an impact on your approach to traveling; with the mist, I can't see very far ahead!

Yeah I quite like (mind you also hate at times) that you can go "right off to do X" but then see the weather is about to change to rain and so go do you instead

I HATE the rain. it's pointless and ruins things., If i'm trying to get up that hill, then I have to literally put the game down and wait for 5-10 minutes, its so dumb. I try to light a fire to pass the time but of course It won't light. Rain is fine, not being able to climb during it insufferably annoying.

Maybe I'm just a grumpy bastard?

I've only gotten to the last of the 4 starter shrines but the pro(ish) controller is so so so so much more comfortable to play with than the GamePad

It's so much better. The gamepad is borderline unplayable on most games for me.

I can get along with it but it is way bulky. I'm glad this afterglow controller has panned out, it's let me play the U again.

Did you visit the shops when you were at the villages?

I don't have any streaming equipment, dude. I will try to post more screenshots of cool moments! This morning I was wandering around a cliff top when those blobby creatures turned up. Whist tackling them, all of a sudden two goblins stormed in... on horseback! I knew I couldn't take them on so I jumped off the cliff and glided down onto the top of a shrine. It was real James Bond-type stuff :-).

Please stop every 30 seconds to record a short clip and then tweet thanks

Such a shame the Switch version butchered the Wii U one. Would love to have seen what they could do with the GamePad.
