 . Just discovered the Hila Rao shrine... I had to be careful not to tread on the flowers :) .

Those strawberry floating flowers, I did that one yesterday.

I turned that thing off before I left the start area. Was well annoying.

I find it handy for finding shrines because strawberry float aimlessly wandering.

You only really want to turn that on when you have 10-20 shrines left.

Yeah a good number of the shrines are either open enough that you can find them without the detector or are part of a shrine quest and so don't show up on the detector anyway!

There are a few that would be very tricky to find without it though!

I'm wandering around some hills in an area south-west of West Necluda.... and I've seen a luminescent dragon diving in and out of the water :o .

Incredible game; I'm loving the exploration!

Whoop! Another Tower done. I was pleased with this one as there were some big lizard things that fired fireballs guarding it and I had to take out two of 'em out . I'm terrible at combat and so I was pleased to get through it!

I'm still wandering around and trying to avoid bust-ups rather than practising my fighting skills. Gotta start cooking stuff again, too - I haven't done much of that and I'm finding apples a little harder to come by now.

So Jawa, how's it going?

Errkal wrote:strawberry float you blood moon!

This has, so far, been a total non-entity for me.

In terms of completion, I've still only visited 2/4 Divine Beasts, but after plenty of exploration I am closing in on 50 shrines!

I was clearing a path to something so I could do a quest about half way a blood moon happens undoing all my work.

Thing pisses me right off!

I know this sounds kind of weird but seeing Drumstick & Jawa doing this for the first time is kind of... heartwarming? I don't know if that's the right word, but it's making me really happy to still see people getting stuck in to my favourite Nintendo game for the first time, even a year or so later when the hype has kind of passed.

Cleared the bit the blood moon strawberry floated me over on, managed to get 2000 rupees from selling meat skewers so I'm good to get a second bit of armour so onto the volcano I go!

Yeah the other day after clearing a rats nest of high level lizalfos the blood moon brought them all back again in the exact same place I had just dispatched them.

Sounds very much like why I was doing, bloody thing is annoying and I don't think it adds much, I like places I've been to be "safe".

It would get pretty boring though. It's no way near as annoying as metroid prime for example.

Maybe it would better it only restore stuff in areas you aren't in to prevent you getting a loads of work undone because of a shitting moon.

I didn't expect that to be the case either, it is annoying.
