I found all the masks, but I used the N64 Magazine guide for a few of them :fp:

And Odolwa wasn't disturbing, he was just an angry shaman. The father of the little girl in the music box house was disturbing. Gave me nightmares, that one. He was all disfigured and walked weird and stuff. Blah.

I've never been a fan of any of the water bosses in the Zelda series.

They always seem a lot more fiddly than the land-based bosses.

Actually, I seem to remember the one in Twilight Princess being pretty awesome.

Anyone playing this right now, I may get back to it on a day to day basis and try and fully complete it.

Should I do the sidequests in between or wait until after the end of the main dungeons?

I cannot believe 10 months have nearly passed and I still have not got back to this game. I might as well restart it again so much time as elapsed! :fp:

Completing this has to be my main objective now, I just want to see the end!

If you let the fact that you can't always save when you want distract you from how good the game is, you're an idiot.

This is malignant for diapered cartoon girls crutches as well

yeah i never really had the chance, was to young for it when it was on the nes plus i was to addicted to completing mario and bart V the space mutants, didnt have a snes or n64 ( till recently) or gamecube and never really got round to it till yet.

also one of my friends were total idiots when describing a zelda game he was going to play on the n64 saying you could only play it for 3 days literally before the game reset its self which sounded the biggest rip off ever.

Right, i got back to this last night. Totally forgot where I was in the game and went back to the pirates fortress even though I had done it a year ago! :fp:

I think I know where I am in the game now, about to enter the zora dungeon. Who is going to join me in completing this before Christmas?

I've been at home ill for the last couple of days, and the cold weather always makes me think of N64 Zelda, so I decided to dig the GC version of this out. I had a file that I must have started a couple of years back where I'd done the first two dungeons, so I'm playing on from there. This morning I did a couple of side quests.

I popped back up to Snowshead to beat that Goht freak so I could work on getting the better sword, although the first time I forgot to leave enough time for him to upgrade it twice, I think I got the gold-dust too late. That mistake cost me 100 rupees as the sword doesn't maintain its second form when you go back in time. :x I hate the bloody Goron race. I swear the others only care about smacking into you all the time, so having to do it twice was a right pain. Also on my second attempt I used a powder keg on Romani ranch to do some quests in there while waiting for the blacksmith. I got the bunny ears ( that bit), epona's song and the Garo mask from those freaky inbred brothers, but I lost on the dog track. I vaguely remember you need a mask that lets you see what the dogs are thinking (Mask of Truth?) but I can't remember just now. And, err, I might have made a bit of a pigs ear of defending the ranch from the invasion. Sorry, Romani.

Definitely going to play some more this evening.

We are almost at the same place, although I have done a bit of the beginning of the zora area! :o

I may do some more side quests and I have also read the zora section is a bit of a pain later on. :|

I did a little bit more this evening, again all just side quests really.

First off, had a minor setback when that bird outside of Milk Road stole my empty bottle. It only cost 20 rupees to buy back, but still a nuisance. And this time I was successful in defending Romani Ranch, earning me another bottle too. :) This also opened up the Cremia cart ride on day two, which I think I only just passed. I'm sure I've never allowed the Gorman brothers to smash any of the bottles on the cart before, I must be playing quite badly at the moment. Still, that's another mask down. Also went to get the Kaefie mask, which I hadn't picked up yet, and I got the Bomber's notebook too. I'm confused about this one; surely I should already have had it, don't you automatically pick it up when you're a deku scrub? Unless I had just guessed the door code or something. :? Ah well. Finally, popped into the milk bar at night on day three to see about getting the postman's hat, but he wasn't there. I think you might have to do something beforehand to make him go there? I just can't quite remember. Damn you, faltering memory!
