Orchestrated music! :o I'm thrilled about that, though I'm guessing Minegishi's going to be the lead composer, instead of Kondo--which irks me a bit, but I liked what I heard from the demo. Hopefully, the soundtrack will have plenty of stand-out features--like Wind Waker's Dragon Roost, and Ocarina's Gerudo Valley.

It sounds like they are trying to get back to the whole feel of the original 2d games - I really, really hope so as they've never been bettered. When oot came out it moved zelda in a fundamentally different direction to the 2d games in feel whereas mario64 still felt like mario always had, (and this evolution has now come home in spades in smg1 and smg2 - we'll gloss quickly over sms !). I like all this talk about dense game-play and the graphics style too, which I think is excellent, harks back to the feel of snes days. I've been getting more and more disappointed with zelda as each one has come out recently - I really hope this marks a fundamental turnaround. Crosses fingers.

Can't wait for this. 2011 is already shaping up to be way better than this year. I wish I could sleep until then :(

Thats what I thought, almost like Link to the Past in 3D, no bad thing.

I get the feeling that forest area was put together *just* for E3, and that given the actual game is still unfinished it will be just like Wind Waker, which opened at E3 to a lot of mixed previews but then ended up being amazing.

WE haven't seen the overworld, villain, bosses, plot, premise or anything else yet. Its hard to judge a whole game based on one demo.

Thought TP was rubbish. Felt old and stale. This looks very interesting in comparison, however.

I'm a bit indifferent on the art style, although I still think the graphics are amazing. It's just not what I had in mind.

Doesn't make it any less of day one purchase though. Can't wait to see what Nintendo do with this one, gameplay wise. I just hope they follow through on their promises.

Why? It was better than SMG. The first at least, I've not played the second so I can't comment.

Not a fan of the graphics. I would have preferred if they'd chosen either Twilight Princess style or Wind Waker style, not some hideous mish mash of both. Actually, I want it to be like Wind Waker. I was so excited watching the puffs of smoke, and the WW style enemies, but they just look, wrong, somehow. :(

It's funny, I was saying to Mr. Gideon that I would like them to show Zelda with the art style like this before the show started, they did, and I was happy.

I'm still a little surprised at the lack of awe in the presentation.

Presentation as in the presentation that Shigeru Miyamoto gave, or the presentation as in style?

A little from column A and a little from column B, also the lack of strawberry float YEAH moment in the trailer (though jumping off the cliff at the end was cool)

As trailers go its a bit missing that magic that big Zelda reveals normally recieve, as for the art style? I dont like it, but then I did not like Wind Waker at first so am sure it will grow on me and amaze me yet.

I felt really sorry for Miyamoto, the tone on his voice and the look on his face just showed sheer dissapointment where he obviously wanted it to work out but it just wasn't working.

He knows how much of a good game it is but couldn't show it off, felt really sorry for him.
