Bollocks. Cheated this morning to find my last shrine. Wasn't even a hidden puzzle - Gorton endurance test. Just completely missed it and probably would not have found it for many, many hours. Sometimes life is just too short! Still, kicking myself a bit...

Is that the one near the desert where you just have to stand on the hot bit?

It is indeed. Not actually done the shrine itself yet. When I found out what type it was I just couldn't be arsed!!

"loot based" weapons are never as interesting or fun as stuff from the old Zeldas, who wants 20 rusty claymores instead of a hookshot or the master sword?

These are both laughable.

The game is packed full of interesting and memorable characters. Link is supposed to be a blank slate he's like that in every Zelda though he has more character in this than in most Zeldas.

The hook shot isn't a weapon, it can stun enemies but you have the time lock for that in BotW and when you factor in the world traversal options in this it'd be completely redundant if they had included it. And I'm sorry only a fool would criticise the weapon variety and fun in this compared to the older Zeldas whereby you get a couple of different swords and that's all you use for the entire game. Fair enough if you want to have a pop at the weapon durability, personally I think it's invaluable to the games design but the extent to which it's employed is definitely debatable.

All 120 Shrines completed (And got my outfit reward) only took me over 100 hours :slol:

strawberry float the Korok seeds, 200+ is good enough for now and I have plenty of space for weapons/shields/bows. All 4 Beastie Boys done, now I'll just finish off some side quests before tackling Ganon.

I have done 102 shrines, so its comforting to know that I have quite a few left.
