At least its new I guess....

I thought I'd be mega hyped for the DLC. I mean its more Zelda! Of course I would be. But I'm not. It's left me feeling cold. Yay more tat to collect. More bitesized shrines that reuse the same art and what looks like more divine beast areas (presumably the 1 "dungeon") that might be interesting but if they are like the main game then its underwhelming. I didn't see one new enemy type or mechanic. But yeah I can spend time with these (mostly) poorly voiced uninteresting characters I didn't care about the first time round.

Cant believe I feel like this about Zelda. :(

Anyone actually know how many shrines have been added?

That's because the game itself is slightly, quietly, frustratingly disappointing.

Haters come at me bro, it's true.

It could well be.

What the hell.

Well the moterbike clearly is just unrealistic.

Not sure if thats serious...

Link eats giant frozen chicken legs and gains health. What Id rather is seeing him gooseberry fool himself to death from food poisoning watching countdown surrounded by Matchmakers. Theres real life for ye.

Hyrulian chicken doesn't cause food poisoning, obviously.

I forget I've got this on Wii U. I'd really like the switch one but god damn those prices.

I couldn't give a gooseberry fool but surely people can understand that a motorbike is hardly fitting of the fantasy setting. What if Link was given a sniper rifle to shoot Ganon from the plateau?

More motorbikes than actual Dungeons in a Zelda game can't be a good thing.

It's clearly a nod to MK and Xenoblade X in optional DLC and probably something you can use instead of a horse and still have to pull around.

This gooseberry fool is in Final FANTASY all the time. It's also in Warhammer FANTASY Battles.

There are minecarts and trains and powerboats in zelda. There's tablets and cameras and autonomouse bombs and magical spinning top surfing boards. Why can't there be a magic bicycle? Lighten up.

This is meant to be a good thing?

I'm sure its quite fun to use. But I bet its no Goron Ball Rolling! I don't think its helped by the fact its function is like that of the horse. It would work much better if it was a new animal ride. Just put a Pegasus horse in and be done with it.

At the end of the day, it's just abit of fun DLC that you can entirely ignore if you don't like it. It's not like they've built a Zelda game around it or anything.

What I'm more disappointed by from reading people's impressions it seems it's more of a cut side quest with some added content than anything substantial story wise. I really wanted a post Ganon world with Castle town rebuilt.

Perform rear peg wheelies on your new bike around the castles grounds while the law looks on because they are powerless to chase down bellends on bikes. Sounds about right.

I had a feeling each individual item of DLC would be pretty small, so I left all the DLC (and didn't go full completionist anyway) til now for one big replay.

I reckon between changing up my playstyle a bit, doing the base game stuff I didn't do, and the new stuff I'll have a pretty fresh second run of it.

Go round recruiting new champions for the future. I'm sure they could have had some kind of leftover Ganon threat to sort too.

Have to admit to disappointment with this. I was so hopeful of something like a new area opening up on the map with post-Ganon content.

If you need Korok seeds to get the motorbike I'll be raging. I've only got 100 of the bastards!

Yeah, I've done the same. I'm definitely looking forward to using it as an excuse to return to the world but I am a little disappointed by what's on offer.

You don't, I think it was all the side quests. And someone suggested even without the dlc. There was a big download on wii u yesterday and I haven't bought it.

I've got about 5 side quests left to do on the Wii U version so I can't test.

Restarted this today, going to pay attention to what NPC's say and stuff and hopefully I won't get lost and stop playing as I don't know where to go.

Am also using a 3rd party pro controller so should be more comfortable as after using the Xbox one for a whole the game pad is just so frigging clunky!
