Ahh, this game is great isn't it. I found the Lord of the Mountain last night after following the green glowing light.

I put an arrow in it but then it dissipated! Shame that. Hope I was meant to try and kill it?

I've also done the Wind Divine Beast. Doing that will make the game much better!

Are you on Switch? View your Switch profile, it tracks playtime per game

Yeah, your profile should give you the info required - although I think it still limits it to 5 hour batches right? And it has some quirks like not telling you how long you have played for until so many days since you first played a game.

I need to get back in and finish some things on this, been too distracted by other Switch games! I think I'm down to <10 shrines left and a handful of side quests - then there's the DLC to consider as well...

10 days from first play until it tells you a playtime, and yeah it goes up in 5 hour steps (under the first five hours there is some more detail now too).

Picked this up at the weekend pre-owned from CEX, only £50.

At a hotel in the middle of nowhere for business this week so will be sure to get my teeth into this over the coming evenings.

Ok so I've been playing for a couple of hours now and just running around skating pigs and running away from turret bosses.

I take it in order to get to the higher and lower areas of the map I need to improve my climbing stamina, am I correct?

Yes. Also, if you don't care about fairly minor spoilers: Beating the Rito Divine Beast gives you an ability that cuts away the (very minor) drudgery that can occur occasionally when climbing, and is a fun ability in general. If I played the game again I'd go for that first.

Also, £50 second hand? What sort of awful deal is that?!

It was £50 on Wii U from CeX when I got it back in June, surprised its still running that high after a year.

Hmmm, so, I just loaded up my Zelda save and I got all the pop ups for the new DLC quests. I wanted to have a muck about with the weapons etc...to get used to everything.......my Master Sword is gone!!!

It’s not in my weapons inventory, I went to the Deku forest to try and start the Master Sword trials but it just pops up a message saying the Sword is out of power so I cannot start the trial

When on earth would the Sword have gone? How can I get it back?

Since acquiring the sword about a week ago, i have been wondering if its possible to lob it with "R" (like any other bladed weapon), and potentially fail to pick it up again. If it is possible do you think this could have happened?

I'm guessing the option to throw the Master Sword isn't available though?

According to Google if you health is full something will happen, if your health isn't full nothing will happen.

I did wonder if I may have thrown it but I’m sure I tried that and it didn’t work?

Could be something to do with health then? I know you had to have so many hearts before you could actually obtain the Sword originally

You can't throw the master sword away or drop it. Silly question but it definitely isn't recharging on a separate weapons screen in your inventory?

If you haven't got 13 hearts you may not even have the Master Sword yet as that's how many hearts you need.

Anyone done the hardest Trial of the Sword mode?

I gave it a couple of attempt but don’t know if I have the patience to keep starting again and getting through it.

You can't throw the master sword, it just fires sword beams instead at full health (is this really a spoiler? It's a Zelda game).

When it's out of charge it'll appear in your inventory with 0 damage, so maybe it just changed spot when you reordered weapons?

Make sure to cook food, and save your ancient arrows for when you really need them. Also bomb spam.

Yeah I looked through the pause menus and by pressing right on the D Pad but it’s nowhere to be seen

I defo had it, I currently have 14 hearts and went I went back to where I pulled the sword out from it’s not there.

I’ll have to see if o can load an earlier save and see if it appears

It doesn't appear on the quick select when it is out of energy, so would only be on the pause menu/main inventory
