South West map quest spoilers.

Just did the thieves hideout. First try without getting spotted once and beat the boss without taking a hit :datass: Is the build up to that area supposed to be hard? Because I just climbed high up and ran the whole way along the top until I was forced inside. Faced 4 enemies in total.

Love this game, wish I could just carry on playing.

Bragging about beating a boss that is literally supposed to be a joke fight.

You did what I did. I guess there's other harder ways to do it.

And believe me, you can carry on playing. I've spent all of tonight just exploring some hills around Faron and have found about 20 Koroks by solving their fun little varied puzzles. I've done all sorts of stuff and have been having a blast just playing in the world discovering new places.

Just completed Vah Ruta as my first Divine Beast. Loving this game so much.

I feel the need to finish off whatever is going on with the dragon thing on top of Mount Lanayru before I move on to any of the others.

Just had a Bloodmoon at 11am that had almost no warning. Happened as I was about to take a photo of an insect that only appears in certain places and weather (I think) so of course they had gone when it finished. :x

..... And now I've had an enemy just vanish in front of me in the middle of a fight.

Found the Lord of the Mountain I don't get to keep him :( :x

Ooooohhhhhh gooseberry fool.

Just when I thought I'd seen all of one aspect of the game

Just done my first Labyrinth (Gerudo region) Wish I'd found the Shrine Quest giver first though, it's happened a few times and I don't want to miss out on the little story before them.

I'd love them to do a "Majoras Mask" style follow up, where they take the engine and quite quickly make another smaller but more densely packed world.

Can't see them making another Zelda like this for quite a lot longer than that.

I'm not so sure. A lot of time over the past 5 years will have been building the engine and physics simulation. All that work is done now.

Well Dunba Taag Shrine was comfortably the worse one in the game so far. Had to leave to reset it and wait chuffing ages for the physics to play ball.

I envy school kids who will have two weeks off for Easter and can play this endlessly. I'd have loved to have had this when I was younger. This morning, I was up an hour early so I played this in bed and had to tear myself away to get ready for work. I just want to keep exploring!

How does this compare to Skyward Sword?

Overall story is perhaps a little weaker but it blasts it out the strawberry floating water in every other way.

Ishto Soh shrine is genius. I spent ages trying to lob bombs over the wall. :fp: Then when it clicks you can move the laser. :o So rewarding when you figure it out.

I had to look that one up. It was the first time I'd ever seen one of those moved and there was no hint in the Shrine you could do it.

I solved it by doing what you were trying. Which tbh I feel like I shouldn't have been able to. Like bollock I had no idea you were suppose to or could do that. I dunno if there is a shrine that acts as a tutorial somewhere.

BOTW is a vastly better game.

It was only after picking up a mass of arrows I had tried to arc over the wall ( ) into the switch that I realised a prompt when I stood next to the laser. No idea if there are more like that, I've only done around 50 Shrines so far. Not even halfway. :o
