A horse shaped motorbike. strawberry floating hell.

Is this the story DLC we were waiting for or is that coming later?

The story DLC is out now.

The bike is a separate bonus bit of free DLC for people who complete everything in the game (presumably not including Koroks).

I think the best way to look at it, and I think how Anouma would view it, is as something for people making videos or like me who have already put 400 hours into the game. I think they’re just saying, right you’ve 100% the game, forget it’s Zelda just have fun int his world we’ve created. When I look at it like that I’m actually really looking forward to just spooning around with it.

Exactly this. It's just a bit of a laugh for those who have done absolutely everything, probably the reason you need to do the story DLC first to get it.

I'm sure folk who have played it for 100+ hours are bored of walking or riding a horse.

Zelda is not a serious game by any stretch :fp:

Well I don’t mean to say I’d be happy riding a motorbike around as the main mode of transport in BOTW2.

Died 4 times in the DLC already :datass:

Nah it would be ridiculous to be 'main game' transport, but I'm really interested in it once I've beaten Ganon etc. Different dynamic to the game.

Is it just me who is going to use a guide for most of the memories, can't work them out and I've revealed most the map :shifty:

I used a guide, I couldnt be arsed trying to figure them all out, I had stumbled across 2 or 3 of them by accident as I explored the map but I wouldnt have had the patience to find them all myself.

There's one or two that are difficult but I think most are easy enough in my opinion, especially if you get the hints from the painter dude.

The bike! Yes!  So good.

EDIT: Miserable sods above & on previous page need to lighten up. It's clearly intended as a joke. And it's funny. So what's the problem?

This doesn't even make sense as a cynical retort. "It's just a prank bro" is about a particular kind of YouTube channel that is often actually harmful (the 'prank' is assault or harassment or threats), whereas a silly mount you can get at the end of a game is totally harmless.

If you want to roll your eyes and blame internet culture for this thing you don't like then the witticism you're looking for is "lolsorandom". You're welcome.

At least its new I guess....

I thought I'd be mega hyped for the DLC. I mean its more Zelda! Of course I would be. But I'm not. It's left me feeling cold. Yay more tat to collect. More bitesized shrines that reuse the same art and what looks like more divine beast areas (presumably the 1 "dungeon") that might be interesting but if they are like the main game then its underwhelming. I didn't see one new enemy type or mechanic. But yeah I can spend time with these (mostly) poorly voiced uninteresting characters I didn't care about the first time round.

Cant believe I feel like this about Zelda. :(

Anyone actually know how many shrines have been added?

16 I've been told.

Takes 9-10 hours to complete.

That's because the game itself is slightly, quietly, frustratingly disappointing.

Haters come at me bro, it's true.

Played for about an hour and a half. Completed the opening section (the bit where you're reduced to a quarter of a heart), which was intensely frustrating, though the shrines were all pretty cool.

Headed to Urbosa's tasks first. Just done the Sand Seal rings, which was okay... Underwhelmed so far.

You guys complaining about a motorcycle in a game with literal magic robot tricopters with heat seeking laser eyes, and giant rock mech giraffes with Zeus powers.

What the hell.
