You first meet him in Kakariko Village, that's where he first helped me find one!

Rito -> Zora -> Goron -> Gerudo is a very sensible order in terms of ramping up the difficulty gradually and accessing useful abilities early, I think. The game seems to just slightly lead you towards doing Zora -> Goron -> Rito -> Gerudo, though, I thought, and I would argue this has the best story pacing in terms of what the Champions reveal about you/Zelda/both. I followed that 'story' order (and was very salty I didn't get the Rito power earlier...).

I wasn't really impressed with any of the 'bosses' really, they weren't at all memorable.

I think the last one you do is always going to be the easiest as you're probably quite overpowered by that point.

Given that the beasts are almost entirely puzzle based and all the enemies are very simple its only the level design that really sets the difficulty apart. Which means Rito super easy and the rest just a bit easy. The first boss you fight will probably be the most difficult (if nothing else because of your low defense stat and limited number of weapons). With maybe the exception being the Gerudo one and that one only becomes tricky because its the only fight that forces you to do something vaguely puzzle like.

Think it would probably take people as long to do the Deku Tree in OOT for the first time as the Rito Beast.

I love the way the music builds in the beasts. Shame you only get to hear them for about 30 secs each. :shifty:

1 beast left. They've been easy so far, had more trouble with those lynal banana splits. Once I've done the beasts what happens? As I don't have enough power yet to lift the master sword out the stone, do I just continue with the shrines?

Fyi Ive got no intention of going after Ganon yet, far too much stuff I havent seen yet. This game is amazing.

My proudest moment is defeating a guardian with 3 hearts, a tree branch and a pot lid. While naked.

I'm in the home stretch now, with only ten shrines left to go. It's been an incredible journey, and now I've got the Easter weekend to continue my exploration.

How do you beat a Guardian like that? Parry with the pot lid?

Just checked my Switch profile for the first time.

I've played Zelda for "80 hours or more".

When you here the beep just before it fires the laser, party with your shield

:slol:

I love fighting the Stone Talus' I think they're my favourite enemy in the game, every one is such a fun little battle and the victory music that plays as you jump of their head and it explodes just provides a real :datass: moment

:toot: :toot: :toot: :toot: :toot: :toot:

Although it depends on how close you're standing to the guardian when parrying

I'm pretty sure it doesn't.

It does. If you're standing too far back you'll swing your shield too early
