It doesn't appear on the quick select when it is out of energy, so would only be on the pause menu/main inventory

I’ll have to check again tonight, I went through the pause menus as well but couldn’t see it but maybe I just overlooked it.

Ok I'm really not getting this game.

I'm guessing I have to beat the Stone Tallus to progress, but I can't find any more weapons.

Halp!!!

You're still on the Great Plateau right? Just do what the game is telling you to through the quest.

I don't have any objectives, the Oman Au Shirne is lot on the map but there doesn't appear to be anything I can do there.

Ok so I loaded the save again, checked everywhere in the menus, no Master Sword. I loaded up the next earliest save and boom it’s back, not sure what the issue was but it’s back again!

Tried to do the Trials of the Master Sword (Beginning trials) and got as far as the forth floor and got killed. I think i’m going to spend sometime mucking around, doing some side quests so I can learn the controls and get back into it and then attempt the DLC again

It sounds like you haven't completed the first shrine.

That's what you need to do. The old man tells you as much.

If you have completed it, the old man will have told you what to do next.

When i'm on nights and I've got time to kill - I often read back through sections of large threads like this one. Specifically for games I love or a topic of interest. I've done it for TLOU and Mario Kart and also for the likes of MW2 etc. Last night I selectively read back through this one. It was a marvelous way to spend a couple of hours.
Firstly - listening to you all speculating wildly and reacting to all the little teasers and drip feed of info. Then as the game reached completion and more information was released reading how everyone was getting very hyped. The when the reviews hit there was a sense of wonder and excitement - mingled with a little caution lest the hype reviews were over the top. Finally, reliving the sheer joy and wonder that this game has generated amongst us was bloody marvelous.
Over a year on. I remain adamant that it's the greatest game I've ever played.

Ah, I went there before, there was a circle with a door in front of it and boulder I could kinda roll, didn't get anywhere though.

Go interact with the small pedestal at the side of the door, you'll put your sheikah slate in it and the shrine's door will open.

What exactly have you done so far? Have you talked to the old man?

The tower has to be activated before you can even see the shrines doesn't it?

Yeah, you raise the tower, then the old man talks to you when you go back to the ground and tells you to go to the shrine.

Didn't know where else to put this, but Edith Finch just won BAFTA game of the year, beating BOTW.
