Ok, I could swear there was somewhere you could go to make the runes speed time quicker?

Is that from the King? Is this a thing you can do?

If you're clever you can get around them and I wouldn't worry about going to Zora Land. Its not that hard.

Cool thanks. Also is there any way to get extra heart containers apart from completing the shrines?

I have three hearts on the second line now and only just feel confident using the shield parry technique which takes them down in three hits. Got my ass utterly handed to me by a silver lynel though

As is tradition in Zelda you'll get them when finishing a "dungeon" but you can also extend your hearts with meals/potions as a temp buff.

Also check out the clothes that are for sale.

Having done all four of those missions, I would do Rito, in the north-west first. I don't recall anything about it that was particularly difficult -- some of the terrain on the way is hard-going, but it's fine if you stick to the roads and in any case you have a horse, right?. If you keep your eyes peeled the journey will reveal a lot of shrines, so by the time you get there you'll have powered up a bit. You can wear your warm coat that you hopefully picked up from the Old Man on the Great Plateau (or it's in Hateno Village to buy). After that, I don't think it matters which order you do them in. If I could go back I would probably do Gerudo next though, as it's a really interesting quest. The risk is that the remaining two might feel a bit underwhelming if you do that one second, but I think they're all fun in their own way.

I did Zora, Goron, Rito, and Gerudo in that order, but that's just because I was committed to the idea of starting in the south and then working my way around the map counter-clockwise. Probably not optimal but it felt like a pretty epic journey!

Those centaur things - Lynels - are really hard. Have you done the Rito yet? By the end of your journey there you'll probably have picked up enough shock arrows from random encampments and chests, so that you don't have to do the Lynel if you don't want to. If you still have trouble after the Rito, there is actually a vendor in the Gerudo city that sells a good selection of elemental arrows, including shock arrows.

A good tip for Lynels is to get the Stasis+ upgrade from the Hateno Research Lab. Between that, head-shots, and elemental arrows, you can deal respectable damage without giving them a chance to retaliate. Potions and foods that boost your damage output help you get past their large health pool, too.

If the Zora is your first area then I'd advise avoiding that Lynel and just collecting the Shock arrows from his area. You're nowhere near powerful enough yet and you don't actually have to take him out to carry on. I'm on my last Divine Beast now, I've got a full single row of hearts and some fairly decent gear at this point and I've still only managed to take out one of them (barely). I think it was one of the weaker ones too.

  That's what's great about this game.

When you go to your Adventure Log and click the Divine Beasts entry, it should put four quest markers on your map. There's one in the far north-west. I've seen a broad consensus that, if you're finding the game kinda difficult at first, that's a great one to start off with. It revolves around a race of people called the Rito, who are basically like birds. You can just ride a horse there, do some exploring, check out some shrines, do the quests up in that region, and then come back to the Zora later.

I would even recommend doing the south-west one before you do the one you're currently at, because I think it's a better & more fun quest, and by the time you're done with both north-west and south-west Divine Beasts you'll feel much more powerful -- that Lynel won't be quite as scary (though it'll still be a bit scary!).

If you don't know where Hateno Village is, it's a good place to visit early on. It's quite close to the first village, which the Old Man tells you to visit, Kakariko. There is a character there who can give you certain upgrades and Stasis+ is pretty useful because it lets you apply Stasis to monsters, not just objects.

He is tough but doable, I only had 5 hearts I believe when I killed him. Just used a whole page of food

Killed a blue lynel a couple of days ago and I'm currently on 8 hearts. He only hit me once B) It was an instant kill but I had mipha revive.

I'm just about ready to head out to my next area after exploring akkala. Death mountain and gorons seems like the next natural direction, but I'm actually just heading to the south west as otherwise I will have no reason to go there and there is one shrine marked on a cliff I want to get to. There are some large cliffs that are kind of blocking southways from hateno, but I now have a full set of climbing gear with the set bonus B)

I'm just exploring and going to interesting things I see as I go too, the geography of each area is good at keeping you within them I'm finding, and then the push from one area to the next has been quest driven.
