Why does that Tingle outfit have a cobra on the back?

Because Tingle is lethal poison to all who encounter him.

Dual audio! :toot:
Starting today, players will be able to experience the game in one of nine audio languages [Japanese, English, French (France), French (Canada), German, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), Italian and Russian], with a different language used for on-screen text by downloading a free software update. To enable this feature in the Wii U version of the game, players will need to download a Voice Pack from Nintendo eShop

Meh. Just reads like a bunch of things that probably should have been in the base game. Wonder if the trial of the sword will be at the Colosseum.

SS hard mode > BOTW hard mode

list fight!

Is there an option to turn the voices off full stop? I'd like that one.

So the last 2 nights Ive played intending to go face Ganon and then gotten sidetracked by other things. On the plus side I came across a stable and a shrine just sitting out in the open that I somehow missed in the previous 80 hours, I also managed to pick up the Dark Link outfit and all the memories. Ill eventually get on with it and actually tackle the big fella at some stage.

I'll be waiting for DLC Pack 2 before I replay this, but I imagine I'll then go ahead and pour another hundred hours into it...

This is genuinely fantastic news! :toot: :D 8-)

So far only the Zora Prince has been any good. I should note, that I've only done the Zora guardian so far, mind...

I honestly don't remember a time where I have been so strawberry floating angry at a game than I am right now trying to beat the guy's time at the obstacle course.

It's completely strawberry floating ridiculous. My horse just randomly slides to the side as I approach one of the fence. Or occasionally just strawberry floating stops in its tracks, despite being absolutely central as it approaches.

For strawberry floats sake.

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.

Oh the horses are definitely a low point in the game. The obstacle course is ridiculous, the horses control like tanks!

Did it!

Think I am just about done with the game for now. I have managed to do all 120 shrines and just earlier found the last of the twelve memories (and the extra bit after that...).

Plus 75 koroks....

Just a magnificent game. I suppose time and revisits will tell if it is my favourite ever (it's currently Ocarina of Time), but it has a fight ing chance!

Get out.

Going in a straight line, no worries, make an ever so slight turn, WHY U NO MOVE NO MORE.

It's a complete waste of time getting on one.

Sounds like you have a bad horse who doesn't love you - horses are great.

Auto path following and collision avoidance actually make the horses feel realistic rather than like fantasy motorbikes. They also make horse archery more viable. Getting on and off horses is also silky as - especially when you time calling your horse over to leap into the saddle without slowing from a gallop, or land perfectly in the saddle after gliding in from above. Leaping from a horse and firing a bow in slow motion - that's another fun one.

Of course the greatest moments in BOTW are the emergent things you'd have never expected, and horses don't disappoint. I'll never forget seeing a bokoblin being booted off the edge of a cliff by my travelling companion.

There was truly never a greater love, than the love between my Link and Binky.

Honestly I really liked the horses. Though I will agree that the fence jumping mini-game was frustrating as hell. Same as Finish.Last I had issues with the horse sliding to the side, or just plain refusing to jump for no apparent reason.

I liked my horses a lot. If/when I play through again, maybe I'll only fast-travel between stables, so I have more of an excuse to use my horses. (Pledging to never fast-travel at all seems bold, given the size of the world...)

Defeated Ganon last night, immediately went back to hunting the last few shrines, I adore this game and I just love being in this world. Ill probably get the last of the shrines and leave it there, Ill give the whole game a replay later this year when I pick up a Switch.

This game.

Are you slowing down?

Yeah me too. Kind of made finding him feel a little pointless.

Think it took me 3 or 4 attempts. I tried twice when I first found it. I thought I did ok but then my second attempt was worse. Figured out it was because I just had a horse that wasn't great and didn't love me enough. So came back later on and smashed it with about 10 or 20 secs spare.
