Bit tougher parrying a Guardians laser got to time it right. Still haven't took on Ganon wanted to save that for just before the DLC lands so I can carry on my adventures, find a few more Korok seeds and then tuck in to the DLC.

I don't think the Japanese only broadcast will have anything new.

The Game Awards is a good bet though.

Finished tonight. Didnt really enjoy that boss fight, I just didn't see the thing that you use to finish off the Ganon and ended up just using a Champion ability to beat him.

I hope I find time for a second play through as I think I will enjoy it more now I know how important upgrading armour is.

I hope to goodness you only get the motorbike by buying a stupid motorbike amiibo.... Edit: Apparently it's called the 'Master Cycle Zero' :fp: and is an integral part of the game used to explore the map in new ways.... (Dear Nintendo, can I have my money back please....)

"SoFans of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game got a new look at the game’s second DLC pack, The Champions’ Ballad, as well as the surprise news that it launched shortly after The Game Awards livestream. In this second of two DLC packs that are part of the game’s Expansion Pass, players are granted access to a large new adventure featuring a never-before-seen dungeon, new insights into the background of the game’s four Champions, as well as a new high-mobility means of transportation. Once players complete the adventure, they will have the opportunity to traverse the enormous world of Hyrule on top of a motorcycle called Master Cycle Zero. The DLC will also grant access to nine new armor items for players to find, as well as the Ancient Saddle and Bridle items. Players who purchase the Expansion Pass for $19.99 receive The Champions’ Ballad DLC Pack 2, as well as The Trial of the Sword DLC Pack 1, which launched earlier this year. That is some top tier gooseberry fool dlc.

A bike. A MOTORBIKE. IN ZELDA. A ZELDA SET IN A MYSTERIOUS EMPTY RUINED HYRULE. A F-ING HORSE SHAPED MOTORBIKE.

Jesus just stick it in Mario kart already, it's what it's for.

Oh don't worry you can now get a saddle you have to PAY FOR to make your horse appear when you call it.

You know you wanted a proper dungeon? Have another divine beast to add to the other 4 gooseberry fool ones. Please understand.

Man I sure hope there's some epic bike races dotted about. Like the Koopa races but with Zelda bikes.

It is a bit odd. But I wonder if Keighley moneyhatted the strawberry float out of them to shadow drop it during The Game Awards.

I doubt there’ll be any more DLC, though Anouma has mentioned a couple of times how they want people to be playing for a long time. It could mean nothing more than it being a big game, it could be they’re increasing the map to include all the land to the north, it could be a Battle Royale mode :datass:

Called it.

Actually didn’t really like the trailer and my immediate reaction to the motorbike was to roll my eyes but have come round to the idea now as a bonus thank you not necessarily to be considered part of the games, just lore like the Amiibo outfits. Was hoping the story would be something stranger than just revisiting the Champions which is what it looks like and it seems like there’s no new area either. Downloaded it already and booting up the game any negative thoughts have vanished and I’m excited to love this world again.

Hopefully the next DLC has link playing in a band with a hobby horse guitar. Zelda on drums, one of the bird people playing a saxophone and the big bird guy playing his accordion. BUT WAIT YOU GET TO PLAY AN OCARINA OMFG NINTENDO YOU'VE DONE IT AGAIN OMFG

I think the bike looks cool, its something a bit different and keeps traversal that bit fresher for people who have sunk hundreds of hours into the game. Im glad I held off on getting the DLC for the Wii U version so I can give all of this a proper playthrough on my shiny new Switch after Xmas.

I do honestly get why people don’t like the bike. I’m still coming around to it.

I think the best way to look at it, and I think how Anouma would view it, is as something for people making videos or like me who have already put 400 hours into the game. I think they’re just saying, right you’ve 100% the game, forget it’s Zelda just have fun int his world we’ve created. When I look at it like that I’m actually really looking forward to just spooning around with it.
