It's ok Hime, I made the same mistake. I spent half the game forgetting the runes.... I used fire arrows on the ice. Doh!

Jesus, I really hate the control scheme on this game.
And controlling the camera is so difficult.

Haven't had any problems with either myself.

Problem I have with the view is that it's too close to the action. It gives me motion sickness, similar to but not as bad a playing FPS (can't play them at all). So not being able to zoom out far enough makes it difficult to play the game very long.

I think the sheer amount of things make it difficult to memorise what does what. Even when I reached hour 1,234,845 I was still selecting the wrong thing from time to time. In fact I even noticed people in the treehouse doing it during E3.

Cant say I struggled with the camera much though. Outside of my stupid dying gamepad. :x :(

I have this in some of the boss battles, the camera wouldn't move fast enough or go quite where I wanted and j would subsequently die because I could not see where the strawberry floater was to shoot him or whatever.

Was made better though when I found the focus button to sort of focus in a target.

I don't think there is any one thing in the game that you're supposed to do, that's partly what sets it apart and makes it so well designed

Focus button? I used to rely on the L-trigger focus thing to orient me more during boss battles but it doesn't seem to work the same as previous Zelda's, or maybe I'm doing something wrong.

ZL targeting is definitely a thing

I genuinely am baffled by how people have so few koroks. I had near 300 by the time I got 120 shrines with no real effort made to look for them. They're just /everywhere/.

You get to a point pretty quickly with them where you see them all over but just can't be bothered to actually go and do the thing to get the seed.

At least that's how it went for me.

Arrgh, got to 100 shrines and I can't find any more. I've had to resort to turning on the shrine detector thing. Anyone else had to do this? No, just me? Arrgh....

Think I had it turned on throughout my entire playthrough.

Looking forward to getting back into the game when the DLC drops in the week. Not sure if I should go straight in to Master Mode or play the Trial of the Sword first.

That's a relief! Thank you Hugo.

Once I read how many there were (this was very early on) and what the reward for getting them all was I didn't bother collecting any more. There was no point. I'm not going to spend 1000 hours with the game finding them so why bother. I think I finished the game with less than 30.
