Thank you. I take it that's an 'informed guess'?? Makes a lot of sense though.

Correct. Nothing official yet. It's as good as guess as any though it does feel too soon without them really revealing anything.

Also the fact that Nintendo doesn’t have anything lined up to release in November on Switch right? Zelda DLC would fill the gap

They've got Snipperclips coming out as a physical release and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is out on the 1st of December.

There's also Skyrim coming out, which I think is probably the real reason they don't have their own big release coming out in November.

No one is looking forward to that.

This storm taking over Ireland seems to have caused a very interesting side effect....

Finally decided to complete the game after finishing off all of the shrines and fill all weapon inventories.

Its nice to have completed the game after 210 hours, but i still have a lot of korok seeds to get as well as complete the main quest in the first dlc, which seems a bit of a chore to be honest!

Yeah mate, blame Nintendo cause your good pal is a strawberry floating Muppet who overwrote your save file like a good old window licker.

 That’s pretty intensely stupid.

I’m itching to get back into Zelda but aside from shield surfing around the place there’s nothing left for me to do. Story is completed, all 120 shrines done, all 900 Koroks collected, every piece of armour including the classic amiibo sets collected and fully upgraded, Trial of the Sword finished, all on master mode. The DLC can’t come soon enough.

Does anyone at Polygon actually know how to play games? Embarrassing.

I went on there website for the first time in months yesterday. Their Stardew Valley review for Switch said it didn't recapture the magic because the the suspend function meant they didn't hear the intro music :fp: . I stopped reading and closed it down.

I've still been playing a lot of this, I enjoyed the last two guardians way more than the first two. I guess it just took a bit of time to get used to the fact that the structure is very different to previous Zelda games. I fancy seeing a bit more of the world and getting the guardian armour before taking on Ganon, I'm not really sure why other than I just enjoy the game world.

Looking forward to a second play through now that I understand the game better. I still have moments of frustration but I think I now know what I need to do differently to stop these from happening.

So what he thought happened was his friend started a new game and the game deleted all of his saves without asking for confirmation, but he didn't realize until later that the game keeps separate normal and master mode saves and his old saves were fine the whole time.
Had that happened that honestly would be pretty strawberry floating shitty and would merit some kind of reaction (though he definitely did overreact).

What a tool, that and the game has an entire save game history to browse through so even if he did start a new game I think you could just load an old save.

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."
