I bought my partner the Kingfisher set that came out recently. We’re both quite impressed with the result for £45.

It’s really cool that you can give models a second life with fan designs. The instructions are definitely a step down in quality and building can be quite a pain as you search for the right tiny piece but it’s produced a great looking model. The final model is definitely a bit wonky though with some odd fits and less sturdy features.

This will go well with my Viking Village, next up the Viking ship!

Funny you mention this as I’ve just started my first rebuild from ReBrickable - the Tree House (which I never liked that much) into a windmill on a hill. After a couple of days I’m only about a fifth of the way through due to that extreme fiddliness of trying to find individual pieces all in one go rather than bag by bag. And yeah you can definitely see a difference between an amateur hobbyist’s instructions compared to those drafted up the professionals at Lego. The one I’m working on really doesn’t like the concept of rotating the build to show you where things are meant to go it feels like.

I might have to stop and get one of those sorting boxes to keep going to be honest.

I don’t think I could turn the Medieval Blacksmith into anything else though. It’s pretty much the perfect build!

The windmill is pretty fantastic, problem with the Blacksmith is that it's a different scale to other sets that have a Medieval theme.

Me and my partner are currently building the Globe set at the moment, really cool build so far, 16 bags in total  we have done 8 of them so far. It’s crazy how much goes on underneath some of these sets, when you see the pictures of the completed sets it doesn’t give justice to how much thought has gone into holding the whole thing together.

Still looking out for good prices on a few other sets, mainly Captain America’s shield and the Viking Village set, hoping Black Friday will mark these sets done quite a bit.

I flipped a coin between the ISS and Central Perk when I bought a birthday set a few years ago - they were both end of line and the same price. I don't regret Central Perk as it was a fantastic build with great nods to the show, but the space sets are awesome.

We have both and although I didn't build it I think Central Perk is probably more fun

Ooh. I would be tempted to buy it.

Alongside with my Saturn V, Lunar Lander, and ISS.

Oh, a Space Shuttle Atlantis as well.
