Anyone know when the UCS Y-Wing goes up for pre-order? Really considering grabbing one.

I don't know if it'll be available for pre-order, but it's released on May the 4th. Will keep an eye on if they do an early order window for VIPs, though.

Lego's doing Brickheadz of Marty McFly and Doc.

Might grab those on 1st May.

I don't think Lego do preorders, as they didn't take any orders for the Hulkbuster Ultron edition until it's release date. I'm actually thankful that I managed to get it.

They did pre-orders for the Saturn V as I recall, but I don't remember how far in advance it was.

Really enjoyed building it, looks good as well :)

Why is the centre fork filled in? :dread:

Solo is going to ruin the falcon isn't it?

It's an escape pod of sorts from the looks of things, with it not being in any of the films post Solo I guess it's going to get used at some point (saying that there was another escape pod used in The Last Jedi so I'm not sure really) and not replaced. You can remove it anyway to give the Falcon it's more traditional appearance if you so wish but I left it in when I took the pic so it was fully together.

With it removed does it have the same proportions as previous Falcons? In everything I've seen of the ship in trailers and stuff it looks too thin for the prongs to be the same as the New Hope Falcon. Might not be as bad as I first thought if it does just get removed and go back to being the right shape :shifty:

No idea, I'll snap a couple of pictures later with the pod in/out to see. Looking at them though I'd say they could do with being a little bit longer than they actually are but I don't have another Lego Falcon to compare them to.

Obviously in the film they'll be able to make it the same dimensions as the New Hope Falcon as they'll be able to pass it off as one of the many modifications Han made to the Falcon before the start of A New Hope.

I can imagine the forks widening to release the pod and then staying wide.

That'd be a good way of doing it actually.

Thinking about it, it's probably a cargo pod. Didn't Han have trouble with Jabba because he dumped his cargo? "You think I had a choice?". I bet he DID have a choice, chose to dump Jabba's cargo to make the falcon lighter and faster to win the kessel run.

It's like poetry. Can I write the next star wars please?

That's not a bad idea either. Although it probably wouldn't fit as I get the impression he dumped the said cargo a lot closer to the events of ANH than what we'll see in Solo. Could still bd used for dumping cargo though, maybe Qi'ra as she probably won't appear in any other films.

I would love to have that, way too much to justify it though. :(

I would love that too but I don’t have a room for it. :(

Does anyone else have the Ninjago City set? I think it's the best build I've ever experienced. I've got most of the regular modulars and it exceeds all of them I reckon.

If you don't own it, now is the time to buy destiny's bounty! - £66.66 (instead of £109.99) at John Lewis.

It's amazing.
