The Falcon is already on "Backorders accepted, will ship by 1 Oct 2017" online. Stuck my order in, so I'm expecting good things. £650 though :dread:

Nice one, I'm jealous.

I just can't justify the spend, sadly, and I certainly don't have the space. But I think I'm going to get that nice Snowspeeder as a consolation.

(I also love that fishing hut. No idea what I'd do with it, but it looks lovely.)

I've spent the best part of a decade wishing I'd had the money for the original UCS Falcon before it disappeared and shot up to like £1000+ on ebay, so I thought it made sense to nab this while I can (even if I don't have the space or the money) :shifty: Will regret it as soon as I've got it built, no doubt.

Reggie says there will be enough to meet demand and not to pay £1000 for it.

Did anyone go to Bricklive this year or last as a VIP? I'm considering tickets for Birmingham next month and wondered if the VIP goody bag was worth the premium.

If anyone had their eye on the Destiny's Bounty set, it's £74.99 down from £109.99 at Smyths.

In store only, but you can reserve online.

Glad I held off on the MF now! (Well for now anyway...)

The website is now telling me they've sold out of the Falcon? :dread:

I wish I'd thought of this as an investment before now. Buy it, build it and have my fun, then sell it for a profit when I realise I have no space for it.

Thanks, my son wants it. I wonder why they have reduced it already considering the film hasn't even come out yet. Surely they would expect sales to increase when the film comes out.

I thought of that a while back, bought some modulars, built them....

... and can't part with them. :fp:

On Thursday, September 14, the LEGO Group gave its VIP members an opportunity to purchase the LEGO® Star Wars™ Millennium Falcon™. We are thrilled by the positive response to the set, which is the largest we’ve ever released so far. We can assure all our fans around the world, that we are doing everything we can to make more sets available and keep our LEGO builders happy.

The website just says "Coming Soon" now. Have they sold out of the entire run already? :dread:

It looks fantastic but 650 quid? Lot of dough that. You can get earphones and some nice coffee for that.

Just seen this in the store in town.

It's astounding. I'm getting one.

I was in Disneyland Paris last week and they were selling the Millenium Falcon the last day I was there. It comes in a huuuuuge cardboard box with wheels and a handle, it really is a monstrously sized thing. Also, seeing the Lego Store there make about €20,000 before breakfast was kinda nuts.

Ordered the winter train station. :toot:

Doesn't really look worth £75 (£70 with my VIP points applied) but it's so perfect for what I'm trying to achieve, that I couldn't resist. Cheers for flagging it to me, guys.

I'm not tempted by that, it really doesn't look worth the money.

No, completely agree. Feel like they'll sell a lot to people who bought the train last year, though.

I really want the carousel as the centrepiece :shifty:

I too have convinced the missus that Lego will make an ideal Xmas decoration so its full steam ahead to get a village setup for this year. I'm thinking Ill get the train and the station, (like Poser I think they go so well together even thought the station isn't really worth it on its own) then add the last couple of years worth of Advent Calendar stuff to see where I am. Can then look to add some MOC stuff from the giant bucket of Lego stuck in the attic.
