I dont know about the Kwik-E-Mart but the Simpsons house was worth the money, even with the dopey looking minifigs. Ill probably pick up the Kwik-E-Mart at some stage this year, get a little Simpsons corner going in on my games room.

Ha sorry, just being "helpful". I would get it as in theory I can afford it but my gf would give me severe grief. Especially as I have no where to put it!

I prefer the look of the Kwiki Mart over the house, and the figures don't have the weird smug look they did with the house.

I think my options are the Kwiki Mart, Parisian restaurant/pet shop or something Star Wars. Possibly the UCS Slave I.

Yeah it was listed as "Retiring Soon" just before Christmas when I ordered it, though it was In Stock. Guess I got one of the last in the batch.

Check around any Lego Stores that might be in your area though, one of them might still have one knocking about.

Taking a little break from building the Slave I at the moment. It's my first Lego build since just mucking about with it as a kid and I'm finding it a lot of fun. Definitely going to start treating myself to a new one every so often.

I got the Detective office for Christmas, so I'll post some pics soon.

I'm also building the Death Star at the moment, which I bought by selling some of the half price LotR sets I bought, plus some others I had. It's awesome and I'm really pleased I didn't miss it (as it's retired now). I didn't realise just how huge it would be.

I might start selling more of my sets to fund newer ones - the Lego habit is finally self funding!! - The Town Hall I bought for £150 (which seemed a lot at the time) is now e-baying for £350 and up, second hand....

I have a load of VIP points too, so I might get the new Brick Bank for my birthday in February.

I never thought I'd get back into Lego so much. 5 year ago me would be shocked at present day me.

Really wish I wasn't having such an expensive year. I really want Slave 1, and the Ghostbusters HQ, but I suspect, as with the Tumbler, they will disappear before I have the disposable cash to get them.

I was given the Snowspeeder for Xmas, though, so quite looking forward to doing that. And I still haven't built Wall-E.

Thinking about shifting a few of the freebies I've collated over the years. Anyone interested in the Gingerbread House, Christmas Train or Darth Revan (in polybag) before I stick them on ebay? I've got a Winter Soldier minifig still in the Polybag too but he doesn't seem to go for any kind of real money anyway.
