Anyone watch Lego Masters AUS? Absolutely love the show and delighted to hear they're doing casting for Season 6. I've watched the UK one (genuinely awful) and the US one (it's okay), but the AUS one tends to have the best hosts, builds and contestants.

The last season which was the Lego Grand Masters series of all the previous best teams was so good.

Taking my niece to Legoland Windsor in a few weeks, I see they do those Lego Mosaic’s where they take a photo and turn it into a mosaic set you can buy and build. Has anyone got one before? Thought it might be a nice souvenir piece she can get whilst we are there.

Amazon currently have the Lego Bonsai tree for £26.99, ordered one as that’s a good price.

Bit of a Lego splurge recently as I have also ordered the Lego Globe and Moljnir from the Lego store and got the free flowerpot and 12 in 1 set

Just seen that Lego have changed their VIP scheme to LEGO Insiders now. Seems... basically the same, but there's some weird treasure hunt going on at the moment where you can scan bricks to win digital prizes.

Also potentially interesting, is that you can scan the QR code off the front of the manual for 20 reward points per manual..? Like, that doesn't sound like a lot, but the QR codes have been on manuals since 2018, apparently. People might have a decent backlog to scan... :slol:

Like some kind of crazy person, I'm determined to somehow get hold of that Rivendell set. Silly money, but my idea is to make it 'free' by selling things I own that I don't use any more.

It's going pretty well! I know I bought the things I'm selling originally for real money, but if they're not being used then it's just cash sitting around. When am I ever going to fire up my Wii U copy of Mario Kart 8 for example?

Hopefully I'll get enough cash together before the set retires!

Good luck!

It's my plan to buy it after I've moved later this year, or in January as a treat when I get my end of year bonus. Think if I do get it I'll get the display case for it so it can be on show in the new house.

Bought the Horizon Tallneck on the weekend, it's currently £56 on Smyths and Amazon so finally picked it up. Only built the base plate so far but it's such a great kit!

Finished the Tallneck last night, didn't appreciate how big it was until it was fully erect and built. Such a great kit!

It's a great set, though

Just noticed you've deleted the other Horizon rumour :( Still hoping they give us a Thunderjaw at some point.

Yeah apparently a couple of Lego 'insiders' both confirmed it was faked unfortunately. Hoping they do release some more kits, the aesthetic works in Lego so well.

I've got Bowser packed away for the house move, so can't wait to build that once I'm moved. Then new year it'll be purchasing the Rivendell kit which I'm stupidly excited to build.

I know its not official, but there is a lot of great looking sets on Bricker Builds, one of those sites I could spend loads on if I had a spare room and won a few grand on the lottery

The Medieval Blacksmith set is £127.99 at the moment, has it been cheaper? I think it’s due to be retired so wondering if it’ll get any cheaper

I have a reputation when it comes to pinatas, i can't bear to smash them up, even when i won a large one in a prize draw, i administered delicate surgery to remove the sweets.
