So many memories coming back looking over those space sets, I was all about space stuff as a kid when it came to Lego.

I still have a few Space Police and Ice Planet bits knocking around that I've passed on to my kids - still brings a smile.to my face when I see my boys bringing out the "Ice Guy" as they call him. He gets extra love for having a bright orange visor apparently - oh and matching skis!

The Lego monorail was proper Argos book fantasy stuff.

The Aquazone stuff was amazing. I had a big sub with a dome front that was cool as hell, but I'll never forget my dad getting me this in John Menzies when I was about 5:

My cousins were friends with these rich guys when they were younger so Id always want to go to their house when I was visiting. They had a shed out the back full of built lego sets on display, including the monorail running around the whole place, it was magnificent.
