Looking for some suggestions, guys.
Last year I bought the Christmas train, Santa's workshop, the winter toyshop, as well as the city train (with motor) to extend the track and power the train. In the end, I only assembled the train (and kept it up a height) as the boy had just started to crawl, and it would have been a disaster
This year, I'm looking to create a festive diorama, in the alcove we have at the front of our living room. I'm also considering lining the walls with images of snowcapped mountains. It'll have the train going around it, the two other models around, and I'm considering adding the carousel as well, if I can fund it.
What material do you think I could use to create a 'snow' effect on the floor? At a guess, I'd say it's about a square metre so I probably can't stretch to filling the space with white lego base plates (if they even exist). Whatever I use needs to be capable of allowing the minifigs to stand up (so if I used a foam, it would need to be quite firm.)
I'm not hugely creative so any suggestions appreciated.
