Argh nostalgia overdrive!

So many memories coming back looking over those space sets, I was all about space stuff as a kid when it came to Lego.

I still have a few Space Police and Ice Planet bits knocking around that I've passed on to my kids - still brings a smile.to my face when I see my boys bringing out the "Ice Guy" as they call him. He gets extra love for having a bright orange visor apparently - oh and matching skis!

The Aquazone stuff was amazing. I had a big sub with a dome front that was cool as hell, but I'll never forget my dad getting me this in John Menzies when I was about 5:

I had this black and red robot thing from similar series. This brat came over with my nanny (no idea why really he was a little banana split) and poured it down the back of a radiator. :fp:

But yeah I had stuff from Aquazone and a bit of Ice Planet.

My cousins were friends with these rich guys when they were younger so Id always want to go to their house when I was visiting. They had a shed out the back full of built lego sets on display, including the monorail running around the whole place, it was magnificent.

Does anybody know where I can buy this?

It might sounds odd request, but I want to buy it for one of my work colleagues.

Lego Death star £100 off at Smyths (£299)
https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toy ... r/p/156074

Use voucher code BF12 at checkout and get another £12 off, making it £287.

I used to own the old one. Fantastic build!

Quidco are currently giving 11% cashback on the Lego shop and it runs until the 25th. Also some of the 20% discounted sets are being previewed on the site. Tempted by the Technic RC for my 8 y o, he's really into Technic at the moment and 20% should bring it down to just over £60. Couple that with the £10 voucher in the catalogue and the Nutcracker should make it really good deal.
