I know, it's a pretty silly oversight.

I still plan to buy the collection at some point as I have Sonic Mega Collection on the Cube for all my original MD Sonic needs, but it's disappointing all the same.

I totally agree. I remember playing Castle of Illusion round my cousins. The way Mickey bops. It felt like a cartoon, and the scary witch!

But my little brother had a Megadrive and was always borrowing his mates games like James Cod. But Sonic will always be a much loved favourite for me. Oh innocent days...

My copy turned up today from Play, yet to play it, anyone else picking it up?

Don't like the main menu at all But I kinda like the option to rate games so ou can sort them into favs and non favs, easier to get into them then. Some games on that list that i've laways wanted to play but never did - really puts the VC to shame aswell sadly. Very please (and will be getting into a bit more after some SFIV)

Although this collection would be useful to play Kid Chameleon and, er... everything else I've played a hundred times before, it'd still be nice if Sega included stuff like Castle of Illusion, James Pond and Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Meh.

Is this collection properly coded anyway? As in, it isn't a load of ROMs stuck on a disc and run through an emulator? I felt cheated by Sonic 1 and 2 so it would be nice if Sega (or Backbone, I suppose) made some effort this time.

Going to buy this after payday next week.

I haven't checked lately but in the last issue of 360 I read they said it was on there which automatically makes it awesome if true.

I was too young to understand/care what was going on back in the day, but used to watch my brother play it. Seemed epic! And, despite the game being underneath my bed as I type, and the Mega Drive being directly in front of me, it still makes no difference, may just get this collection after all!
