Hardly the same compilation.

Why do Sega, Ninty, Capcom and the rest release old games? Its fooking ridiculous. We paid for the games years ago, and now you want MORE money off us? strawberry float you. If i want to play Mega Drive or Saturn games, i'll buy em and play them on my consoles.

There are some good games on there including childhood favourites like Beyond Oasis and the Phantasy Star games. I'd possibly buy it if it's released at £20 or less but that's doubtful so I'm out.

Its a good list of games, if they do release it at a budget price like the PS2 and PSP collection it'd be well worth getting. You wouldn't get all those games on the Virtual Console for €60 anyways.

I see this as a missed opportunity, Wouldn't these be better suited to XBLA/PSN, for 400ms points? Half of the games on here I'm not interested in and i very much doubt that any of these games will have netplay which is a shame.

Was looking forward to growing my MegaDrive classic collection on XBLA allowing me to pick and choose the exact games I want.

Why has no ChuChu rocket game been announced for digital distribution? Madness!

It's basically Sega's VC Output but on a disc and with achievements. Could do with some more games on it mind, considering they could fit a lot more on, but I'll probably pick it up if I see it going cheap.

This better come out on PSP. SoR portable? Sign me up NOW.

I don't like the way they have flippantly used the word 'Ultimate' in the title of this compilation. A truly ultimate collection of Mega Drive/Genesis games would contain every game worth owning in the library. Because of that, I'm suing, I mean I'm out.

Do we know what arcade games are going to be on this?

There better be an option to turn off that filter they've got on the games that makes everything look like a painting.

Speaking to RPGSite, a Sega PR representative confirmed that the filter which proved controversial with fans would be optional. "I’ve had confirmation that the filter can indeed be switched off," Martin Snelling of Sega UK told us.
