The Mega Drive Ultimate Collection coming to PS3/360

If this really IS an ultimate collection, then SURELY then can actually fit virtually their entire back catalogue fo MD games on a 360 and bluray disc!? Because I reckon this'll STILL be missing a few of the really good classics as well. :roll:

As I'm not on Live (though I do have emulators - which I obviously don't condone...) I may be tempted by it having the Streets of Rage games on it. But only if it's seriously cheap.

There'll be over 40 games on this (though I haven't seen the complete list yet). Hopefully they'll include the Shining Force games.

Let's not forget the collections on the PS2. "Over 20 games!" Yeah, five of which were strawberry floatin' Phantasy Star.

They know how big of a cult hit the Saturn was, if they could bring those games to current gen machines without massive hassle or having to rebuild them all, they most definitely would. As for DC games, they'll come into their own in the next generation.

Nah, the 360 has got more than enough power to emulate the Saturn. I used to play Saturn games perfectly on my PC a couple of years ago, no way did my PC have as much power as a 360. And those emulators were created by hobbyists. If Sega were inclined to do so, they could emulate a Saturn on 360.

I'd much prefer it if they built a Model 1/ Model 2/Model 3 emulator though. And why haven't we had DC games on Marketplace. Where the strawberry float is the first Crazy Taxi with online leaderboards?

Great news but where are the Saturn and Dreamcast collections that had much better games than the Mega Drive.

This will be like the others, just 12 games which is rubbish, you can fit nearly every Mega Drive game on a DVD.

While this is nice idea, WHERE'S THE SATURN COLLECTION? Or even Dreamcast?
As much as I love Mega Drive and its games, I'd want to see Saturn/Dreamcast collection. Like someone said, Crazy Taxi XBLA with leaderboards would be brilliant idea...
