Neighbour-bloke and neighbour-woman had a massive row yesterday afternoon; plenty of shouting and screaming whilst I've never heard the f-word so much before. It was amazingly aggressive. Neighbour-bloke ended it by yelling "Strawberry-float you... strawberry-float off... you're a banana split" at her and then storming off.
The evening was lovely and quiet without neighbour-bloke being around though .
Just waiting for their making-up-again party to take place now.

After a few days away, he has returned tonight and they're celebrating by blasting out music.
Young couple standings outside the flats smoking whilst their three kids run around on the flower beds . Bloke picks up the smallest kid and briefly stands him on the roof of somebody else's car parked nearby . The parents then chuck their cigarettes to the ground as their cab arrives .
Not so much a neighbour but I couldn’t think of anywhere else to post this so here goes. I live in a shared house and one of the other tenants is really getting on my wick at the minute.
There are a few problems not least of all he’s always cooking. Morning, noon and night cooking. If ever want to cook a meal it doesn’t seem to matter what time of day it is I need to wait for him to clear out of the kitchen.
Then there’s the fact he doesn’t seem to grasp the function of a draining board. Instead of putting them away in a cupboard (which we have bloody loads of) he seems to think the draining board is where you store your pots and pans etc. So whenever I come to wash up I have to shift all of his gear. You’d think he’d take the hint what with me regularly moving his stuff but no it just doesn’t sink in.
The big one however is the state he leaves the kitchen in. We’re all adults so surely cleaning up after yourself in a shared house should be obvious but it’s getting ridiculous. There are spillages not being cleaned up, food waste on the floor, the bin not being emptied etc. We have a cleaner but she only come once a week so you get maybe a few hours a week where the place is spotless before he hits the kitchen again.
He only recently moved to this country and I know this is the first time he’s lived away from home but surely he must have some basic grasp of etiquette and courtesy.
Also, yes I realise that last bit sounds a little “I’m not racist but...” but strawberry float it.
EDIT: Oh, and he burps all the time without saying “excuse me”.

The couple who moved in opposite me (who we kept getting knocks on the door by people clearly on something) are now gone. After months of having their windows smashed in and police visits they split from each other and moved away.
Also, the house next to them, the family in there got evicted due to constant noise complaints. Although they never affected us that much.
