I just heard a load of clattering in the hallway, and what sounded like someone dragging something down the stairs. I found out it was the janitor mopping the floors and hitting the walls with the mop

Hitman in training, clearly. Seeing how much force he can use to hit the walls before moving to live targets.

I can't share too much, guys; it could be absolutely nothing.

A neighbour has highlighted some noises coming from another flat that is being rented; constant water usage, various people coming and going, and what sounds like "building work". There could be a perfectly innocent explanation - perhaps the people are building cupboards and taking lots of showers - but there are suspicions that something is going on.

Right now, it feels pretty odd and some of us are being kept awake for a lot of the night by the "work" taking place.

As far as I know, nobody here knows you in real life, knows any of your neighbours in real life or knows where you live (other than a vague idea). There's no reason to not tell us what you're talking about.

Fingers crossed you aren't on a shared electricity and water meter.

I reckon it's just a big Art Attack happening in the flat.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Some do! But I trust 'em.

Excessive use of water. "Building work" in a rented place. People arriving and leaving at odd times. Add 'em up and... blam.

Any half decent sex worker would allow for their clients using the shower, so maybe it's just that.

Yep, experience from both ends of the transaction. It's not to be sniffed at.

Jawa has finally been exposed for using Microsoft excel to fake Kate Middleton photos, and is now trying to drown those all around him who know his secret.

What the strawberry float happened in this thread after I was done with my report on dBs.

(That are also meaningless if not all measured with basically the same instrument, using the same method, and at exactly the same distance btw.)

I'm gone for a few days and it's murder slash cannabis farm.
