Doors in houses there is no excuse for - just shut them quietly FFS!

What if they've installed two stage latches throughout their house?

I seriously think this is fire doors. They're on chains and literally slam themselves shut, sometimes before you've even had a chance to catch them first.

They're installed in rental properties according to regulations. We have to prop half of them open because they slam all the strawberry floating time.

We had those in our flat, chains ran out of the hinges. We used to hold them closed to minimise noise. Nobody else in the building did :dread:

Exactly, and this is what my neighbours are guilty of, there are no fancy doors in the houses here which would need extra muscle or slam because of a specific mechanism, just ordinary regular doors which end up getting slammed so hard my entire house shakes.

I'm sure that'll work out fine :dread:

It's OK, we just generally take care to not set fire to the house, by not setting fire to it.

The strawberry floating Poo Patrol has been back at my front garden again the last couple of nights. There's nothing I enjoy more than walking out of my house to discover someone else dog has taken a nice gooseberry fool all over my garden. :x

Cats I can understand, they're practically wild animals that aren't under someone's direct control, but this is on a road where the dogs will be on a lead and so some idiot owner is just standing there there thinking "oh yeah, this is fine". Idiots.

I don't understand why a dog would even be allowed onto someone else's garden - if Loki tries it I don't let him get anywhere near the private property that he's trying to invade.

Exactly, if Ada tries to stray into someone else garden then she's steered away swiftly. If someone has a bush or something that is right up against the pavement then let a dog have a sniff of course, but done let them stroll further in and drop one on someone's flowers!

All I can think of is Reverend Lovejoy - "Go on, do your sinful business..."

Obviously someone is out to get you.

I genuinely think this is the case now - what have I done to deserve such a punishment!

Time to setup the spy cam I think...

In terms of animal excrement, it's horses that tick me off. Why are their owners/riders not required to pick up after them like we are with dogs? I realise that there is more of it, but it really pisses me off that they're given a free pass. Especially when they gooseberry fool all over running/walking trails.

I was saying this exact thing the other day. There's a lot of horse riders around here and there's Jurassic park style mounds of the stuff all over the place. I want to see some posh twat with a bin bag folded inside out up to the elbow picking it up.

To be fair whilst horse excrement is somewhat off-putting it's not "harmful" in the same way that cat or dog waste can be. Still a strawberry floating mess mind.

Don't commercial horse carriages normally have to strap some kind of 'bag' to the back of a horse to catch the mess?
Anyone taking a Horse onto a public road should be required to do the same.

Living in the city, the only horses I ever see are police horses. And as they let them gooseberry fool all over the road, I wouldn't hold out much hope that they will go after other riders.

I can't see it's a big problem though especially out in more rural areas, it's not as nasty as dog gooseberry fool.

I imagine the next GRcade moan will be about cow gooseberry fool. "I went for a walk in a field and the cows were just shitting everywhere! The farmer should pick it up!". ;)
