It wasn't the 'run to the sun' at Newquay by any chance was it? The A303 used to be filled with VW Campers on those weekends (not even sure if it still takes place these days).

Decided to get a sneaky pic after seeing some requests here, he's been sat there all day, and before that was busy revving his toxic camper van at approx 4.30am this morning.

Hold on, is he sat behind the van?

Does he just sit there all day staring at the back of his van?!

Do we know if he was watching the football with a rugby ball in hand? Because that would be special. Not necessarily obnoxious, just... special.

What is obnoxious is basslines that can be heard throughout not only the flat under you, but the flat across the way from the flat under you. :x

Seems to very, lately it's been behind the van, other times the van has been parked elsewhere and so he has plonked himself in the middle of his front drive.

I can confirm that he does indeed have a back garden.

Do you live on a busy street? Maybe he likes a bit of suburban people watching?

Pretty much, well, apart from when he's creating a disturbance with his van of course.

It's a cul de sac at the end of an estate, hardly anyone from outside the street can even find it, it would be silent up here weren't it for the morons who live around the close.

That is rather odd I must admit that you would just sit there holding a rugby ball for no apparent reason. At least he appears to be reading a paper at some point and drinking tea.

Maybe that's his way of feeling part of the community. he even has a name.

... Maybe his garden doesn't get any sun? Is he disabled somehow? Maybe he doesn't get enough vitamin D.

Looks like he's putting his feet up on the bumper.

Nice theories, but i'm pretty sure none of them are correct.

What are stool blokes living arrangements Vermilion? Is he married or single? Does he have kids?

He doesn't look old enough to be retired or anything so you think he would have something else to do beyond just sitting with his cup of tea and precious rugby ball all day!

I kinda don't mind the idea of someone just sitting on their driveway; if he's not blaring out music or making a nuisance of himself, it doesn't seem too bad.

In my flats, a block of wood roughly seven foot high by two foot wide has been left just inside the main entrance door. It seems a fair bet to say that someone living in our block has put it there but, despite a polite note being placed on the item and then letters issued to residents, no-one is owning up to having put it there. So, collectively, we'll have to pay to get it removed.

What kind of strawberry-floater would dump something like that in the place that they live and then ignore requests to remove it? :fp: :( .

Unfortunately we don't have any riverways nearby, dude. There is a house up the street where the residents literally leave their rubbish in their front garden (until recently they had a supermarket shopping trolley, old children's toys and bags of junk strewn across their drive) so I guess I could try and drag it there.

More likely, we'll pay around £35 for the council to take it away, though :( :x .

Maybe he likes to make a log of all his neighbours' movements.

Sounds like a wood project that didn't get very far.
