They are both morons, unfortunately. He is aggressive, stocky and will start shouting about virtually anything, whilst she has been witnessed telling people to "strawberry float off" when asked about dropping rubbish in the grounds.

That may be a decent approach. From experience I know that, round my way, they hardly ever answer and barely respond but I could just leave messages and eventually they'd have to get in contact.

I’ve not gone all the way through it, but this seems a decent site. Have a look and hopefully there’s something that can help you.

Yeah screw the council route, go for the police (or, as said before the social services because that is not a suitable environment for kids) if you want results.

Jawa and vermys' neighbours make me glad all I have is a nosy grump downstairs and a Chinese man on a space hopper upstairs.

strawberry float the council call the police, stop being a positive person about it realise the gooseberry fool ain't gonna end so call the plod. Then once you've called them call social services. This gooseberry fool has gone on too long where the only person hearing about it is us your diary.

Amazing, stool bloke living the dream there. Record player, topless, a few cushions for his feet and a cup of tea WITH a saucer like a true gent.

I wish I could be as happy just sitting in a stool.

I bet he doesn't use any sort of smart device, the stool bloke is the only one of us who is truly free.

Do you reckon if he puts rap music on that record player, it becomes a stool sample?

Thanks, Moggy - I'm having a look though it right now. In terms of noise, it is a case of contacting the council and having evidence (a noise log) and then they will initially mediate to resolve the problem. If that doesn't work then they can issue a noise abatement notice, possibly with an end game of "confiscating equipment".

Unfortunately you can't call the police on the basis of noise; it's a local council matter. If there was disorder - possibly as per last night when they were aggressively arguing in the grounds of the flats - then, yeah, that coud be a time to call the police. You have to keep a noise log and I've shared this with our flats management company, resulting in two letters being issue so far. You need to avoid becoming directly confrontational with these kinds of neighbours as that will undoutedly escalate things the wrong way.

He does appear to be chilled, relaxed and (outside of the occassional bit of van engine revving) not being too much of a pain. Stool Guy seems to be pretty decent :) .
