By accident or were you sending a message?

By accident. I was trying to clear a blockage in the sewer pipe and removing a handful of compacted TP for some reason caused stuff to erupt out of the manhole in their driveway.

I really do think my neighbours need proper lessons on how to close a door.

All evening it's been SLAM SLAM SLAM SLAM SLAM!!!

The entire room shakes every time they do it, utter morons. :x

I feel for you man.

I have the exact same thing, every bloody night.I gooseberry fool myself every time it happens and the room shakes. And there skinny 7 year old kid thumps around like a herd of dancing elephants on a Friday night.

I have a pair of dumbbells that at near my couch and every now and again I push one off the end of my couch onto the floor in the hope of making them gooseberry fool themselves.

strawberry float my life.

Or people whose cars are equipped with bass speakers so strong they'd set seismographs off within a 5 mile radius. Tiny Penises, I call them.

My neighbours have had their bins out in front of their house for almost 3 weeks now. Everyone else keeps their bins by their garage and the cul-de-sac generally looks quite nice. What can you do? I'd considered moving them back to their rightful place myself but that's just too passive-aggressive and weird, and I don't want to ask them to move their bins as it just comes across as petty and moaning (which I admit it, it is). Quite annoying to step out of my front door and be greeted by their bins just a few steps away.

There's a genuine busybody that lives a few doors down who I'm hoping will make a move on this, no-one likes her but she does get stuff sorted

Write a fake official looking letter from the council reminding them of their bin moving duties and post it to them

I'm thinking now of adding stinging nettles to my front garden, as maybe if there's something painful present, it might discourages the feral brats from using it as their own personal playground.

The guy next door just thumped my wall so hard the entire PC, room, my chair, everything shook.

I was only playing a bit of music, wasn't even loud (i only use little pc speakers), i don't know if it was aimed at me, but if so then it's a bit rich coming from a guy who once played music so loud that it could be heard several streets away.

I'm still shaken up by it, i'm pretty much used to the guy being a douchebag, but this was on another level.

I don't feel like playing any music now.

Curl one out on his doormat and leave a note threatening to break his strawberry floating arms if he bangs on the the wall again.

You have to look at the wider context of this latest incident too, as since my dad died (they all watched as he was taken away by the ambulance in December 2016), the behaviour of the people in this street has gotten steadily worse and worse, they were pretty bad when he was still with us (during his illness at home, the guy next door spent time terrorising him with DIY and the howling dog), but now they seem to have taken advantage of his absence to be even more appalling.

If i turn it up, then it would just lead to even more aggro, and right now i really don't need it.

Are they council tenants or do they own their place? If they're with the council you could put in a complaint and see what happens from there.

They own the place, some of the street are private rents but not this one.

Another issue of course (were i to do something) is the risk of escalation, i still have to live here and i really don't want to end up on a channel 5 documentary.

If you feel threatened by it take notes and call the non emergency police, the community support officer will call on them or leave a letter. There's nothing wrong with playing a bit of music.
