So, the Birmingham panto was pretty by-the-numbers. The Brummie dragon was hilarious, though.

I think I'm a little bit in love with Danielle Hope, too. She sings a verse or two of On My Own in the show. I'd have loved to have seen her run as Eponine

Gok Wan wasn't as bad as I was expecting, either. He's got potential if he does decide to do more theatrical stuff.

EDIT: Also, bit of a long shot, but has anyone seen any of Matthew Bourne's ballets? Are they any good? He always seems to do things a little differently with predominantly male casts, so I almost want to go just to see how it compares to the more... traditional shows.

Loved the Hits! Would recommend them to anyone! Wicked and Lion King both being especially good.

Spiderman in New York was shocking. If the Green Gobling wasn't there for comedy value I'd almost rate it the biggest waste of £100 ever. The production was there but Jesus, the music was hilariously bad.

I'm looking to see The Book of Mormon in the not to distant future.

Got free tickets to Evita tonight. Don't know what to expect. Except for Don't Cry for me Argentina, I don't know much about it.

I really want to see Book of Mormon, but when my wife looked into it, it was £300 for 2 tickets. Plus train fairs from Edinburgh and a night or two stay in London. Making it a very expensive trip.

Just noticed that Video Games Live are in London on the 2nd of November this year. I've been waiting years to see this show but that's the week I'll be on my honeymoon! Don't know how to feel.

I'm going to their Manchester show. Funded their Volume 3 collection on Kickstarter so I get into the meet-and-greet too (and my name on the screen at the start yeahhhh). Going to be amazing

Saw Strangers on a Train at the Gielgud.

Marvellous show. The quick set changes on the revolving stage were particularly impressive.

I went to see The Weir at The Wyndham's Theatre. Really enjoyed it.

Funny but with some very dark moments.

Brian Cox was awesome.

So, Singing in the Rain is amazing. Faye Tozer was fantastic as Lina (disappointed there's no videos of her doing What's Wrong with Me around, though ), and all dat rain. Oh my.

Just in case anyone else here has an ATG Theatrecard - Advanced booking is up now for Avenue Q at the New Alexandra! Think I'm the first person to book for it. Just nabbed six seats on the front two rows of the circle. Got our usual New Alex seats. Noice

Just got the latest brochure through for the Hippodrome. Decent shows coming up that I want to try and get to: One Man, Two Guv'nors, Show Boat, Wicked, and maybe Jon Richardson. Shrek The Musical is coming there next year, too. Sort of tempted, but I bet it's awful.

Might be seeing a few of the BRB ballets there too, possibly. Going to be an expensive few months!

Disappointed I've missed Stephen Mangan doing his run in Jeeves and Wooster, but Robert Webb's taken over the role now. Not sure if he'll be better or worse.

Then Seeing the Marriage of Figaro at the Royal Opera House on 7th May. Best seats in the house. Should be stunning.
