I think I was just amazed at how blatantly they blew her cover (especially with Tatiana). Felt like a bit of a bodge job by Wongers and co

Finished the last few episodes earlier. Didn't really have much of an ending. Poor Will :( Suppose that was always going to happen without a huge timejump, though! I'll definitely pick the books up at some point, mainly just so I can get a handle on the story before Netflix cancel it before it's had chance to run it's course.

I'm avoiding any book spoilers (book splits :x ) but I did see that that title of the book trilogy is Remembrance of Earth's Past. I might be a million miles off in this guess, but I assume the very end is Earth being destroyed. Then millions of years later a different alien race finds Will's brain and brings him back.

My parents Netflix account got hacked this past week. They loaded up the app on their Sky Glass and were presented with an Indonesian language profile page with 5 pin locked profiles named a, b, c, d and e. Trying to login to the Netflix website resulted in an error that no account with the e-mail was found.

Netflix are supposed to send an email when your email address is changed but that hadn't happened here.

Tried Netflix online support first and pretty sure I just got an AI bot, it just kept trying to send me a link to account recovery and never acknowledged me telling it that the email wasn't found, then it declared we hadn't passed validation so they couldn't do anything.

Tried the phone support instead and had the account back within 2 minutes of connecting to a person who reset the email back, set the account language back to English, sent us a password reset mail and stayed on the line until we had all the locked profiles unlocked and removed.

The only issue now is that whoever got the account used the main profile for nothing but K-Drama so now that's all my mum gets recommended

Four episodes into Fisk and it's excellent.

Netflix are now removing the Basic tier (£7.99, one device). Got an email saying we can move to £10.99 for two devices, or £4.99 with ads.

I'm not paying for ads, and I don't need two devices so I'm finally going to cancel. Will just re-sub for a month whenever there is something I want to watch.

Yeah, that £7.99 (720p, one device, no adverts) tier hasn't been available to new subscribers for a while now. As you say, the two cheaper tier choices are now £4.99 (720p, one device, with adverts) or £10.99 (1080p, two devices, no adverts).

I switch between Netflix and Disney+ every few months as programmes arrive and go.

But what about Prime, Paramount, Apple, NowTV and Britbox?

Ha, yeah, it's pretty crazy, isn't it? I don't know how all of these separate streaming services can be financially viable... for the companies or the consumer!

It's mad and I doubt they will all survive. Although some of those have parent companies with very deep pockets, so who knows.

I think you have the right idea, sub for a month or two, binge all you want to watch and then switch to another service.

Chop n' change is the way to go with these offerings!
