Been reading One Piece manga for 16 years. Watched probably the first 750 episodes of One Piece anime too.

Distracting having the Strawhat crew speak English.

I just can't see how any live action version of One Piece can adequately recreate the zany cartoonish style in a way that works.

It might be worth a watch our of morbid curiosity but Netflix would have been best to redo the original & ongoing anime in 4k 60FPS with pacing that roughly corresponds to 2 or 3 manga chapters per 20 minutes anime episode.

I think Manifest has been around for a few years now, but i don't know very much about it as it's not really been promoted or talked about very much.

Ministers in the UK want media regulator Ofcom to police streaming giants in a similar way to traditional broadcasters, meaning the likes of Netflix and Amazon Prime Video could be fined up to £250,000 ($310,000) for carrying harmful content.

The Media Bill states that major streamers must consider impartiality in the context of contemporary events, pointing specifically to “current public policy” and matters of “political or industrial controversy.”

So when they say "harmful content", what they mean is content that is harmful to the Conservatives.

Instead of wasting public resources drafting new bills to protect yourselves, maybe just stop being such a bunch of crooked, self-serving arseholes.

So ive finished Witcher S3 now. Is it about this time that the Witcher 3 video game starts?

I know the timeline and themes and threads jump around a bit. I cant remember where the witcher 3 video game starts off, but it feels like the TV series has now set up / aligned with the witcher 3 video game now.

The current series is sometime around when Ciri sees the Wild Hunt and Witcher 3 (afaik, haven't played the games) is at a similar place in the overall timeline.

Regarding the Witcher S3, they said they would give Cavill a good send off and they...really didn't? It was just a bit gooseberry fool.

The song that played during the end credits is a strawberry floating jam though.

It looks like it could be amazing, they've done well to get all the cast back from the film as well to reprise their roles.

I've watched the first three episodes of The Devil's Plan, great stuff so far. Any fans of The Genius, or game shows or strategy games in general, needs to watch.

Netflix are increasing the price of the bottom and top of it's three tiers:

In the UK, its basic service with adverts will rise to £7.99, while the premium ad-free option will rise to £17.99. The standard tier (no ads, but also no 4K) will remain at £10.99.

Thankfully that won't affect mine then as i'm using the £10.99 tier.
