I’d say so, I think it’s probably a very marmite film though, could probably tell from the first 15/20 mins if you’ll enjoy the humour in it or not. I love it though.

Nor did I! That means I’ll keep Netflix for a bit longer yet.

Netflix is launching a new streaming option with adverts in November, introducing a less expensive offering as it fights to keep viewers.

The plan will be available in 12 countries including the UK, US, Canada, Mexico and Australia.

The firm said it would charge £4.99 a month for the service in the UK, while it will cost $6.99 in the US.

Subscribers to the new offering should expect to see an average of four to five minutes of adverts per hour, the company said.

Some films and TV series also will not be available due to licensing restrictions.

Finally got around to watching the latest season of Cobra Kai.

Holy strawberry float, parts of that were hilarious.

I'm watching The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (currently on season 2), and it's decent stuff.

Anyone else been watching The Midnight Club? 2 episodes in and I’m really not feeling it, not sure if I should give it another episode or 2 to see if my feelings improve or not. It’s not bad of course but just not that good yet in my opinion.

There’s been a couple of bits that have piqued my interest in it but it’s not keeping my interest like the previous series Flanagan has done for Netflix. Reckon I’ll give it a go till the halfway point and decide there.

I'm about halfway through and it's still not great but I'll finish it. Been racing through the Mole though :shifty:

The Mole - 8/10

I like the premise. It's well shot, well directed and has some interesting characters that you can find yourself rooting for or against. The tasks themselves are, on the whole, good.

The letdown for me is how some of the players decided to play the game. A number of them choose to intentionally sabotage tasks on a regular basis as a means of increasing their odds of staying in the game. If other players suspect them of being the mole and they aren't, they're less likely to be eliminated. Now, in terms of game-playing this is a solid strategy, but at times it makes for some irritating TV. The game is supposed to be everyone working together to try and win money for the prize pool with one player secretly working against them. The concept of the show falls a little flat when multiple players are seemingly trying to tank every single task in attempts to misdirect others. In terms of The Mole's identity:

I did correctly identify Kesi as the mole. It was the bank heist task which put her to the top of my list. Most of the very obvious and blatant sabotage was shown as being deliberate with the players in question acknowledging what they were doing and why, but not in this task. We were supposed to believe that Kesi made an honest mistake with the names which I just couldn't buy.

Saw the first two episodes of De Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities last night. Really liked them both (first one was better) so will definitely stick with the series. It's very broad-strokes in terms of character and story (they're only 45 minutes long so not much time for characterisation) but they hit the 'Goosebumps for Grown Ups' vibe on the head. Silly campy Halloween horror stories and I love it.

Same, I'm about two episodes in with no real itch to go back to it. That's happened a couple of times with Flanagan's stuff, sometimes I just need to be in the right mood for it to bite.

I love all the Cartel stuff on Breaking Bad. Surely I should love Narcos?
