It'll either be amazing or dreadful. And even if dreadful, it'll probably still be better than all but 2 of the movies.

The original Batman Animated Series is now on Netflix, with the best Batman - Kevin Conroy.
I’m going to rewatch the entire thing over Christmas.

Have now finished Part 1 of The Crown's final season, it was a bit up and down in places, but i did enjoy it.

The Scott Pilgrim series is pretty strawberry floating excellent. This cast must have cost some serious dollar.

Was it really 5 years ago that Netflix added Studio Ghibli's catalogue? I genuinely feel sick wondering where that time has gone.

Funny you should mention as I just watched Spirited Away, the first Studio Ghibi film I've ever seen. It was brilliant!

Watching Life On Our Planet, and I really want to like it more than I do, but the way it keeps jumping to show life doing stuff now, and making some pretty big time jumps from one era to the next within episodes, just makes it feel off. It's making it difficult to feel immersed.
Much prefer the way the "Walking With" line of shows were structured. Kenneth Branagh's voice work was also better.
Lovely visuals, though.

It's not all there, just season 1. Justice League is on there too but Justice League Unlimited isn't.

Im watching 3 body problem, and 3 episodes in so far pretty good. Ive read that its based on a trilogy, so im guessing theres not closure at the end of the 8th episode - only a long wait for the next 2 seasons to get made? Im predicting that it will just fizzle out and not have a satisfactory ending, that would be a shame becasue the premise is quite interesting.

I've been watching this and I've just finished the third episode.
Bloody weird and I'm not too sure that I'm understanding some of it. But... I'm enjoying it!

I'd definitely recommend the books for those that have enjoyed the show. The character work is not the best, but some of the concepts and ideas that are explored are brilliant. I don't understand how they are intending to film some of the stuff that is in the trilogy.

Just got to the bit in 3 Body Problem. There's so much in this that just doesn't make the blindest bit of sense Episode 4/5 spoilers:
They send Jin in undercover to the summit, and then immediately blow her cover with the woman running the cult-thing that she knows personally Then they spend ages going on about how valuable the data is on the ship, and how they can't risk it being damaged or destroyed before they get to it, and then they decide to cheesewire the whole boat? Why would they also not just try and reverse the boat when they noticed all the panic going on down the front that's quite clearly in line with the two massive pillars coming out of the ground, too?
Like, the only thing that would make sense here would be if the Irish fella turns out to actually be the aliens and he's just dicking about.

I think it is explored further in the book and the idea is that the nanofibers are so small that even on the off chance that they sliced through the data, the cut would be clean enough that they should still be able to retrieve any data. And the whole thing happened pretty quickly, I'm not sure how much time there would have been to shut the engines off after the ship starting getting damaged.

I'm with you on the cheese wire thing.
But for the person she knows personally, I don't think they knew her friends mum was going to turn up. They were all shocked when she turned up.
