About 6ft 1, 97kg or so. Rough 1RM are very low, currently sitting at 170/110/230.

I'm liking my weight just now but would like to get to a lean 95kg or so. Want a 180kg squat, 120kg bench and 250kg deadlift at least.

Nice work BOHero, looking great. Pretty cool tattoo as well, always got a soft spot for chest tattoos.

Always wonder where the extra weight comes in from such shots though - I'm about 84/85 kg and 6'1 in these pictures taken earlier:

Wasn't planning on putting them up as I took them this morning in the middle of an ongoing bout of food poisoning. Thought I looked a bit shittier than I have done for a while so I'm hoping these form my before shots.

Fallen far since my near-roided up body at Christmas but hoping I can pile the muscle back on before the end of this year. Shoulder's playing up again but hopefully this deload week gets it back feeling fine again.

Don't you live in East Asia somewhere where you can get pharmaceutical grade testosterone? Inject that and Deca Durabolin for your joints and you'll be loving life. :slol:

You wouldn't think there's 12/13KG difference between you and BOHero at the same height. Must be legs gainz for BOHero with squat and deadlift goals of those numbers.

That's true my legs are lacking now more so than normal. They grow really quickly though so a few months work will pile it back onto my thighs.

Eastern Europe but I could get ahold of test easily - already don't have a working liver though so that definitely won't be happening!

Doing really well on my lifts. Now to take 3 weeks off to go on holiday :dread: I'm really worried about losing strength, but at least my joints have time to recover.

I'm glad you like my Aberdeen tattoo ;) The extra weight is in my powerlifters ass and thighs.

Brer  cheers man.

I dunno, even when I've been pulling over 200kg on the deadlift with ease and with big thighs my weight's never risen above about 87kg. I think being a natural ectomorph with crohn's somehow keeps my weight quite unnaturally low at all times.

Looking great BO and ian, certainly motivated me since I just started on the weights again this last week. Taking it real strawberry floating slow at the moment, though. I had DOMS in my arms for two days after some chin ups which would have been hilarious if it wasn't so frustrating that I simple tasks like making my bed were ridiculously difficult.

Found my new spiritual home. Total shithole basement gym that's grotty as, full of roided up folk and just packed to the rafters with different weights equipment. Don't think any of it post-dates the 1970s but still. Has one treadmill and one bike as the extent of its cardio equipment  checked to make sure they work and I don't think I'll have any competition for them anyway as the clientele don't look the type to waste gains on cardio.

Did initially suspect I'd entered a gay gym as the legs section has only near-naked men on the walls (folk like Ronnie Coleman) and the only other person in there was a stacked black guy working out in tight shorts and nothing else. When Frankie goes to Hollywood started blasting out I really wondered if I was about to be an unwilling participant in some homosexual orgy. But after a while a few hot lasses came in and the gangster rap started up so it was all good. Incredible gym

I just ran 10km in 51 mins, well chuffed especially since I've been working out every day this week. Got some massive blood blisters on my feet from my new running shoes which were bought for me as a gift, which sucks. Think I'll just power through and hope they turn into calluses, they only hurt occasionally.

Cheers mate, seems throwing in some interval training is really helping. Also my general fitness will be getting better from the swimming and cycling.

Cheers brer. From the way you make it sound it seems 90% of your time is having your arse handed to you.

Nice. I can't hack anything further than 5km!

Speaking of which, I'm just about back to my best. I got 22m 49s yesterday and I'm feeling good. I think I could have shaved a few seconds off if it hadn't been so bloody hot!

The ultimate dream has to be sub-20 minutes, but it just seems crazy right now*. Has anyone here managed that sort of pace over a similar distance?

(*Yes, I know Mo Farah did it in just under 13 minutes the other day. What the hell is that man made out of .)

Yeah, running seems to be all about putting in lots of long slowish runs and the occasional fast interval session. Just a matter of putting the time in really.

You'd be surprised how effective and beneficial more (not just occasional) sprint sessions can be for your longer runs.

I would aim to hit about 8m30s for 1.5m when I was running properly and then no more than 12/13min for the second 1.5m.

I wish I could still run because I really enjoyed it, but my knees and shins just explode now if I attempt anything more than a 5min jog.

Yeah, I tend to alternate between steady and interval runs at the moment and it seems to be going well.
