Can we get this tagged under sport please. Not a fan of the filter thing but makes finding this thread easier.

Dudes, for the past few weeks Ive seen a load of people at my gym drinking bottles of milk whilst working out. Why?

Its really strawberry floating weird looking around the gym and seeing a load of bottles of milk next to racks.

I was thinking that maybe some famous bodybuilder or something tweeted or facebooked that he drinks milk mid workout and everyone has picked it up.

Water all the way for me. Sometimes a Lucozade Sport if I'm doing a long circuit session, but even then I much prefer water.

I love milk but if I drank it mid-workout I'd end up spewing it across the gym.

Such a bad session last night. Grip was strawberry floated, I only managed 7 130kg reps before it failed :fp: Old mousy not old wanky. Even after I could only knock sets of 2 out until I got to 30, just because of grip strength. I'm going to cave and buy some wraps.

Maybe they're drinking milk because they watched the programme that was on the BBC a few weeks ago that found milk rehydrated everyone faster than water and energy drinks like Lucozade (which came last).

I've seen a few lads using milk cartons as water bottles at the gym, maybe it was that?

Milk is white and water is clear, I have grown quite adept at telling them apart in nearly 25 years
