Nah, I always had two days off every week to eat what I wanted.

Ah, my guess would have been you were being too strict on yourself but it's not that. Oh well, gooseberry fool happens mate, no reason you can't start again, still a few months until summer. I just started a 12 week cut last week, in fact.

Aye I've set up a new gym routine and will try and stick to that for a few months, maybe switch from lager to vodka on my bi-monthly night out. Started batch cooking easy to make stuff as well. If I could drop a stone back down before heading to Barcelona in June I'd be quite happy.

It's weird though, I never stopped going to the gym so my fitness hasn't gone anywhere and I'm lifting near PBs at the moment, but the belly just keeps strawberry floating expanding.

Saw a guy benching 130 the other day.

He was a tubby powerlifter type, so the range of movement was quite low due to his belly and bitch tits. If you can't beat em hate em.

Managed to equal my best deadlift at 110kg yesterday which was a good feeling! (Just going to ignore the post of someone benching 130kg posted earlier...). Feel like I could do more, so will give it a go next time.

It's amazing the difference wearing flat trainers like converse or just socks makes compared to running trainers etc. Which I definitely didnt use to deadlift in :shifty:

Not bad though! I remember when I got to my own bodyweight (at the time, about 85kg too) and I was impressed. Up to 110 now. I could go higher if I didn't lift in the morning before work

The bodyweight squat is a great milestone, congrats! The next one (for most people) is 100kg. You will feel like a boss the first time you complete a set with two full size plates at either end of the bar :datass:.

Looking good brer, even with the better lighting it's obvious your arms have developed and your body fat's lowered nicely.

Since my last Physio appointment my shoulder's started getting better considerably so hoping I can re-enter the gym come May. Not lost quite as much mass as I thought I would've considering it's been four months since I tore my muscles but still in nowhere near the shape I was. So looking forward to getting back in a few weeks.

Did a 45min Yoga session today. Was quite pleased with my flexibility but it can do with some work.

Usually I go to the gym Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday with Wednesday as a rest day so it was a welcome change to be able to stretch out properly and still do some form of "workout" that wasn't that intense. Worst part was I didn't want to go back to work afterwards!!

Looking awesome Brerlappin! Can really see the changes!

Had a 12km trail run today which was seriously tough. Did the same pace as we did the whole Reading Half in but because of the terrain and steep inclines it was so tough. Had a couple of hours off and PB'd my 25km cycle at the gym after. 1500 calories burnt. This dinner is gonna be so good :datass:

Eugh. There's a team of douchebags joined my gym. The biggest banana split benches 140, so you can't really hate him, except he barks like a strawberry floating dog. I mean like an actual dog. Or DMX. He does it before he starts lifting and during. Sometimes he even lets out a growl.

You're trying to lift and all you can hear is RAWR RAWR RAWR GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

So, to the burning issue of the day: How am I doing on my diet?

Well, I started this thing back in June of 2013 and I'm still pretty much adhering to the new food regime I began back then. When I began I was close to 16st - a right fat b*stard and getting fatter. I think the last time I bored you all with an update I was around 11.5st... happy to say I weighed myself this morning (I don't weigh myself too often, tbh) and discovered I'm now down to 11st. I have to say I haven't been making any special extra effort - quite the reverse, in fact. Since Christmas I've been dabbling with chocolates here and there and although it's been hard to get myself off the occasional indulgence I'm hopeful I've now done so. Just amazed that my weight has apparently remained unaffected throughout - except that I've lost another half stone since Christmas! How the hell does that all work?

Anyway, in short, the eating regime is going much better than I really have any right to expect. Still no exercise! Looks like those tight T-shirts are going to be good for another summer, after all! 8-)

First day back at the gym since I was in Madrid drinking lots of beer and not eating an awful lot of food. Tapas is small like. So wasn't expecting to do well but managed to squat what I was meant to with 3 sets of 5 at 160kg. Chuffed. Plus I'm down to 95kg.

Nicely done. Although you obviously missed the memo that exercise is for mugs.

Well done Cal, that really is a good amount of weight dropped. What does your eating regime usually consist of?

Only did the 8 at 180 back off set cause I was goosed from the double.

Yesterday:

I do PT every Monday, I 'run' a T-25 class 4 days a week at work now (Tue - Fri) and usually have 2 - 4 others join in from work.

I also do weights at the gym 3x a week (Mon/Wed/Fri) and changed my diet (see below):

I've put on 1 stone of solid muscle, my arms are getting stuck in some t-shirts now and I'm now almost hypertrophy benching my own bodyweight. :toot: :toot:

Suffice to say I'm a LOT fitter than I used to be.

I'm off on holiday with the family to Dubai soon, so really putting in the effort for the best beachbody I can muster.

Have barely played any games in the last 6 months, but I think I *really* needed the break from them. Roll on new house and garage gym building time!

Impressive transformation. You look good (no homo).

One question though: how do you write gamer guides if you don't actually play games?
