Lovely start to the season! Not the best first half, but great to see the team play well (in parts) and coming from a goal behind away from home is always great.

Delighted for McBurnie and Dhanda (not a bad first touch for the club). Lovely to see Montero again as well.

Plenty of positives. I thought McKay looked exciting and Celina didn't seem to put a foot wrong. It took ages to get going, but I thought in the last half hour we looked very bright. A lot of that was down to Montero. Shame he'll probably injure himself before the next game

I think getting Fer fit will be a huge boost as we're so small, particularly in midfield. Really hoping we can sign this lad from Brentford to replace Fulton, and I imagine once Ayew and Clucas are gone, we'll bring in another striker at the very least. If Fernandez does go, hopefully we can get the McKenna deal done too.

I have zero expectation, but I'm looking forward to this season more than any in the last 3 years. The yanks are still a problem, but I think Potter has more of a say in the running of the club than any other manager under their ownership. Feels like we have a plan for the future. Might take a few years for youngsters to properly develop, but I'm okay with that.

Not a bad start, good first half but let down by the second. New players show promise. Enjoyed Hunt’s game.

Mo looks good, wish he got more gametime

Yeah on his day he is. But he disappears quite a lot. Very frustrating player who looks a bargain at £500k one week, and a rip off another week. This time last season he was a fans favourite all the way through till around Nov. Be interesting to see how he gets on this season.

Forest are absolutely battering West Brom here. :dread:

Middlesbrough are also handing it to Sheffield United as well, not looking like we'll get back into this at all, Wilder will probably be having a few stern words with the players right now!

That second half was insane. West Brom score a quality equaliser then should have got a second a minute later.

Unlucky overall for Forest who were dominant.

We played better in the second half but the damage had been done in the first 25 mins, no way were we getting any points tonight. Expect we'll try a few changes for our match vs QPR on Saturday.

Mental. Can’t believe we didn’t win. Should have been 3 up before they scored, then we could have lost it as you say. Cracking game. Cracking atmosphere. Loving Dias, and Carvalho has some vision in his young head. This season is gonna be fun

I think the reason the rest of the championship seems to hate us..is that despite being in the same gooseberry fool heap of a league. We're still splashed all over the papers. In the news. All over twitter accounts. Still being relevant. The rest can only dream this.

Haha. strawberry float off.

Yep, that’s definitely the reason everyone hates Villa.

Everyone hates Villa?

And I'm hoping Spurs strawberry float off re: Grealish. Think Bruce is still looking to get a couple of loan deals done before the end of the month, them along with keeping Grealish would be decent work during the window.

No, not everyone hates Villa. I am sure Birmingham and West Brom do, but the rest of the Championship doesn’t as far as I know.

What I posted above was a Tweet by the worst Villa fan.

One of his new habits is writing "m9" in every third tweet.

No one hates or cares about Villa anymore :slol:

They're not more relevant in the Championship than anyone else.
