Hard to argue too much with this ;).

1. Wigan
2. QPR
3. Norwich

Wigan? That's the worst one!

It's like an old JJB store front.

Anything that harks back to the late 90s / early 00s is a winner for me. As far as I'm concerned Blackburn are still sponsored by Time computers.

So many kits ruined by sponsor logos. :dread:
I'd get the Villa kit but the 32Red logo - although not too offensive compared to some - just brings the whole thing down a notch.

Amusingly the kids kits aren't allowed to have betting logos on so they're all much smarter.

Yeah it looks so much better. I know some adults can get away with ordering an XL kids top, but no way would that work for me.

The season starts today lads!

A lot of change at Swansea, some needed, some inevitable following relegation. We still need one or two signings ideally, if we get them or not is a different question.

Excited about the league, (hopefully) I'll get to see Swansea win a few more games and score more goals (cue us losing heavily to Sheff Utd on Saturday). Not too optimistic, but nice to have football back!

So that we can all point and laugh at each other in May, how well/badly do you think your club will perform this season?

After last season, I am not sure how Bristol City are going to do. We started so well last year and had an amazing cup run, but it all fell apart at the end. If that form is going to continue, then I think we are in for a very very hard start to the season.

Overall I am predicting mediocrity, we will not trouble the promotion spots or the relegation spots but will finish mid-table. I will be optimistic and predict a 10th place finish rather than a bang average 12th. ;)

I'll be disappointed if we don't make the play-offs.

Villa will win the league with a records point total. The authorities will be so impressed that we will also be handed both the Premier League and Champions League titles.

Steve Bruce is given a Knighthood.

If you are going to quote Glowy’s Twitter feed then you really ought to give him an acknowledgement.

My bad.

Realistically I have no sodding clue how we will do this year, I want to be optimistic but can see us being the epitome of mid-table mediocrity.

Darren Bent laying into Paul Clement in the pre-match.

Useless manager that must have fluked it temporarily at Swansea and will probably stick an egg on my face this evening.

Sky Sports now have all midweek Championship games available to watch via the red button.
Full midweek Championship rounds live

There are eight rounds of midweek Sky Bet Championship matches this season and Sky Sports Football will broadcast matches live on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

And as part of a brand new service, Sky Sports viewers will be able to press the red button and watch live coverage of ANY of the matches being played.

That means you'll be able to watch YOUR team live when they play in midweek, no matter which Sky Bet Championship club you support.

Subscribers will also be able to access the live matches via the Sky Sports app - and Soccer Special will also show the best moments from all of the games live on Sky Sports News.

With the World Cup having taken place it doesn't feel 2 minutes since the last season finished and now it's already back underway!

Nice that Sheffield United have their first match on TV, we've made a few signings over the off season (but also lost Brooks which is a shame but oh well), had a decent enough pre season so I'm looking forward to getting our season going. No idea how well we might do, would be great if we could actually keep, our performances up over the course of the season, we had a cracking start last year but faded after Christmas. Play offs would be nice but I'll be fine as long as we don't get relegated!

Don't worry, I can see Sheffield United losing! I do tend to be on the pessimistic side of things like this though so who knows?

Getting outplayed by a team expected to struggle all season. Here we go again :datass:.

Wilson has looked way off the pace and something is wrong with Keogh.

Already hate football again.

Those posts from Ob Bob sum up what it’s like to be a football fan.
