Really something that I want to do soon, was one of the things I noticed last year watching it on the game pass was just how loud some of the stadiums got on defence. Wembley was far too quiet when I went

Yeah Wembley was good and all but it was dead silent.

Kinda regret not getting tickets for the Dolphins game instead of the Atlanta one.

Gamepass subscriptions are being pushed on NFL.com right now.

There doesnt seem to be any special offer this year so it looks like full price for everyone, still cracking value though. As always dont get the single team package, thats just silly, get the full season pass at least but top tier is worth it for Redzone and NFL Network.

Is there any difference between Season and Season Plus other than archived footage of the play-offs?

Season Plus also has NFL Network and access to everything for 12 months instead of 6. I thought it had Redzone as a bonus but it looks like that is available with the regular Season pass as well. For a proper breakdown go here and hit compare plans.

I'm looking to get into American Football with the new season, something I have wanted to do for some time but have never quite got round to it. I understand the game on a very basic level, and would like to understand it and it's history a little better before kick off.

Does anyone have any suggestions for things to read or watch that will help me? I'm going to subscribe to Gamepass nearer the time so that I can properly follow my chosen team each week, New York Giants.

Basically, I think you better try to watch some games and you'll pick up from there slowly. Plus, I'm sure most of us will explain you if you need anything to know.

Welcome to the NFL club.

Whilst American Football doesn't have anything like an equivalent to Ken Burn's baseball (a ridiculously detailed history of that sport) if you're interested in some of the history the ESPN "30 for 30" films are interesting, especially the first bunch they made. The ones about college football are a really good way to begin to understand the culture around the NFL and it's shadier elements.

30 for 30 is a good watch for anyone, I really need to get around to watching more of them. Anything from NFL films is worth a watch, Americas Game or A Football Life especially. Really good documentaries in their own right, they just happen to be about the history of the NFL.

Also, strawberry float the Giants.

Done and done, which I think means we officially have half of the teams in the league covered. Not too shabby at all. But theres probably a few other teams represented that I havent put in there, Im almost certain theres a dirty Jets fan in our midst somewhere for example, just cant remember who it is.
