Je suis Canadien de Montréal!

Not having a great season so far. Not compared to last year though. All we need is to qualify for the playoffs and let Price do his thing.

I tried an NHL thread once...it got 6 replies and died I believe :(

I'm a big Colorado Avalanche fan. Managed to get to a game at the Pepsi Center in Denver for the last 4 seasons. Although we've been pretty useless.

Having a much better season this year though. 8-)

The Anaheim Ducks were so much better when they were the Mighty Ducks.

Just right this second, I've decided to support the New York Rangers(Ted Irvine, innit). Are they any good?

Awesome. I'm a Canucks fan, live 5 minutes away from Rogers Arena 8-)

How was the Senators game Lotus? Canucks are looking pretty unstoppable at the moment

You wouldn't believe the amount of discussion over how to solve the Luongo problem in the papers and stuff here. It seems to be all anyone is talking about, or at least was until they started to hit some form. Looks like Schneider may have to get traded after the season, which sucks as I think he's currently a better goalie than Lu.

My family lives in Colorado Springs about 1 hour outside of Denver, I visit fairly often so luckily get the chance to get to at least one game a season.

I still live in the Midlands, unfortunately. :P

I vaguely recall it, thought something like that happened. :(

We need Steve, Rightey and Wiggles, our honorary Canadian, to contribute as well.

EDIT: Ah, Wiggles. Speak of the devil.

Hopefully it won't die too much. I will probably keep bumping it looking for Canadien streams.

I remember really falling in love with the game watching crappy streams on that ridiculous playoff run we mad based almost solely on the tending of Jaroslav Halak. Then we traded him, so Carey Price decided he'd be equally ridiculous since!

Pretty good game mate, nice double by Kesler.

I kinda pick up on some of the Luongo stuff, as I check out the Vancouver Sun's website, but I'm sure it's a lot more obvious being there. How do you solve a problem like Luongo, eh?

Yep  I think he's on a 12 year contract and is the highest paid player on the team. :fp:

Unbelievable. :fp:

BTW, can anyone help me with this? How come Dallas are 3rd, despite having fewer points than the teams in 4th/5th/6th?

I've signed up for NHL game centre or what ever it is where for $160 you can watch all the games live. Shame most of the games are on quite late. Team wise I'd say I'm a Boston Bruins fan but I'm not really.I'm a NE Patriot fan and thought well it's all New England but I haven't made my mind up yet really. Tbh I think a merged American Sports Thread could well be the best bet. For NHL,MLB, NBA and NFL as well as college stuff.

Hockey in the UK really needs some kind of unification. So many leagues and teams, it blows my mind.

Solihull Barons, anyway. 8-)

Another random fact for the evening, I played for Coventry Blaze from Under 16 to Under 19 level. We played up in Manchester one game. It's not the nicest rink to be honest. Plus their captain punched me in the face...whilst I had a face cage on. Awesome.
