Like Poser's toy thread, but this time it's TV shows. I was born in the 70's so there are probably a gooseberry fool load of shows you lot wouldn't even know about! But here's a few that I grew up with:

Airwolf

Automan

The A Team

And finally Baywatch (any excuse to have Pammies tits on screen! :datass: )

You can include cartoons as well!

Manimal? What strawberry floating gooseberry fool! But at the time was good. I also used to watch the Tomorrow People, Dr Who (John Pertwee), The Banana Splits (before that meant c u n t) and the 60s Batman TV series.

I also remember re-runs of the 1980s British cop show Mourning Noone and Knight:

Image

DCI Meridian Midday (Warren Clarke) fights his way through a corrupt branch of the Avon and Somerset Constabulary to investigate the suspected murder of two detectives - DI Noone and DI Knight (portrayed in flashback by Stratford Johns and Brian Blessed) investigating the link between their Superintendent (Dennis Waterman) and a heroin deal that went wrong. Such a good series, I wonder if it'll get remade at some point.

Yes and Space 1999.

I also used to watch the B&W episodes of Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon (starring Buster Crab). On the B&W front, also used to watch The Lone Ranger and Harold Lloyd. Anyone here ever seen Harold Lloyd?

Thinking about it, used to watch a lot of B&W stuff, mainly because we still had a stinkin' B&W TV until I was about 10. :x

If the internet had existed then, I'm sure I'd be writing "FML" everywhere.

I'll post some vid links later, but I think my favourite shows were the Saturday morning ones, when I was around the ages of 6-8. Looking back, I think they were the best times to be a kid. You know your own mind, but not well enough to be bogged down with a world of crap.

Terrahawks
Pole Position
Mask
Starfleet (my god that Brian May theme tune  )
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors (thanks Trelliz)
Will o the Wisp
Brick a brac (sp?)
King Rollo

Harold Lloyd, that was the guy that used to hang off clock towers and rooftop ledges wasn't it, DH?

Holy gooseberry fool! Mask!

Aren't they re-making Terrahawks (like they've done with Thunderbirds?)
