Yeah I did. An enjoyable mess as always.
CuriousOyster wrote:Find them all pretty annoying and its cringe worthy how much they even copy little things the GiantBomb lot do/say.

How so? The two shows are different enough in format and the interests of the personalities that they complement each other quite well.

I think its their actual voices that annoy me :slol: :fp: True I do like that the format is different right enough.

Ill maybe pick another two days of the GOTY stuff, did enjoy Day One but don't have time for them all as only listen driving to work like 1hr 30 mins each day.

Got through it all, mostly background listening but I got most of what was being said, more enjoyable than last year as Brad didnt dig his heels is and insist that his choice should make the list in spite of everyone else voting it down.

Just finished and loved it. Worked a fair bit over Christmas and been listening to it on the commute. I didn't realise how much of a mainstream gamer I am, haven't heard of half of the indie stuff.

I think time will show Rocket League to be one of the most overrated games of all time.

It's one of the best multiplayer games of all time that'll be around for years to come so yeah, quite comfortably better than both of them.

I just didn't get that at all, it was good fun for a couple of nights but I felt no compulsion to go back. I'd much sooner play Fifa.

Obviously some of you are passionate about it so it's probably just me.

I can't believe that no one on the staff managed to finish The Witcher 3. :fp:

I also can't believe that they let a game in the top ten yet again that only one person liked. Last year it was Destiny, this year it was Invisible Inc. And I'm pretty sure Brad got Dota II on one year as well by himself. :fp:

Overall though it was good fun.

Never listened to GOTY in previous years, just enough to tide me over till the normal podcasts start again. I've found much more entertainment in listening to old (2012 or earlier) Bombcasts recently.

Love the Beastcast though, really enjoying Project B.E.A.S.T as well.

I can't figure out how Grow Home made their top 10. I've played a few hours of it and I just don't get Brad's mad love for it.

I couldn't see this either, i played and finished when it was released on PSplus last year. It was an ok game but I didn't like the movement at all, the way they were talking about it on GB made me think it was an entirely different game

Now, I do this myself quite a bit - I even have a life time membership at CheatHappens. My entire PC library, more or less, can be CheatEngined. I have no issues with this at all. I love to able to breeze through tricky games, difficult bosses, etc.

Just wondered why respected games journalist Jeff Gerstmann never seems to receive any criticism for his use of CheatEngine? Any time I mention that I regularly use it I seem to get hammered by the 'gaming elite' who seem to think I've just murdered a child.

Jeff had already beaten mgsv on ps4 before he started doing the 5x running speed stuff on cheat engine.

He came around on the concept of mobas when hots came out. Dan is awesome, #1 internet troll

I initially didn't like Dan but I really like him now.

I haven't played Grow Home yet but it was it was one of the many choices that I don't remember anyone being particularly vocal about throughout the year.

After that one quick look he's never mentioned it again, so I'm guessing not. Although he has been trying to be more open-minded this year, so hopefully that will continue. He can be quite funny but is so dismissive of loads of stuff.

To be fair, I don't like how Brad does that high-pitched voice thing when he's unsure of something, or most of what comes out of Austin's mouth. I know how everyone goes on about Ryan, but I was almost completely unaware of GB until after he died, so I can't make that comparison.

Austins pseudo intellectual horseshit is what annoys me the most. Case in point from the latest Beastcast: "It depends on how we define difficulty". No it doesnt, anything that makes the game harder to complete is more difficult, its pretty simple really, youre just trying to complicate it to sound smarter than everyone else. He then compares Ninja Gaiden to Civ V, arriving at the incredible revelation that they use different methods to make the game harder, different genres are different, whod have thunk it.

Im not sure how Dan has survived this far into life, let alone become a published author and world record holder, hes a ridiculous human being really, but I like his games talk so hes ok in my book.

This :slol: I remember he didn't know how a mortgage worked at some point only last year. His diet of exclusively Taco Bell sounds amazing/terrible.
